Beautiful work! Very interesting how he has rejuvenated the area into an authentic low-maintenance woodland. His information applies to those of us with smaller scale gardens as well. Thanks for an excellent video.
Nice garden! I looking for a house in Dickson TN with about 25 to 55 acers. Did you say that garden was 2 acers or is that all the land that came with the house?
That's just the garden. it took about a day a week to keep it mostly weeded and took about 3 years to restore. The property owner was a blessing to work with.
Whoever planted the 2 southern magnolias so close to each other and 3 feet away from that large magnificent mature tree should be fired, those magnolias will need removed within 5 years as they grow into each other and take over the tree that's already established
You have hard time finding someone better than me, those Magnolias are a dwarf called little gem and make great understory trees. Your lack of knowledge should keep you from commenting further. Have a nice day 😁

I see a lot of non native plants. Such a shame and irresponsible.
It is their property, they can do what they want.
He specifically said they had saved some natives from a site where they would have been destroyed. But that's not pure enough for you?
On a wooded property....I wouldn't plant non natives. In my controlled front yard I would.
