Never gets old, although I think the old shuttles were more dramatic.More flames and smoke. New rockets seem more lean and efficient.

Good morning Robert! My husband and I just discovered your TH-cam channel and are enjoying watching your past videos. This one about Cocoa Beach was particularly of interest to me as I grew up in Florida and my father was stationed at the Air Force Base there. We spent a lot of time on the coast and it brought back so many fond memories. Your videos are always so entertaining and relaxing, I always feel as if I have just been on vacation after I watch them!

I'm lucky to live about an hour from the space coast. One of my favorite places.
My home area! Never gets old seeing the rockets and even when the shuttles were around. Great views!
During this launch we were off shore on a cruise ship returning to port and the rocket passed over us. Really nice to see a launch from to ocean side as we’ve seen several from land.

A drive by the cruise ships at the port is always a cool sight. Victory Casino Cruises is a fun day cruise that won't break the bank.
Love the Indian River area. I remember... as a REALLY LITTLE kid stopping to get grapefruit along the river .. WAY before rt. 95 came along.
Witnessed an early morning shuttle launch back in 1984 when my brother worked for NASA. Amazing sight! There were no visitor tours back then that I remember. Have been to Houston and Huntsville where my brother retired from NASA 5 years ago. Both are awesome!

I have commented before on some of your videos. My Father lived for almost 20 years in Cape Canaveral. His cousin still lives in Satellite Beach, he is a WWII veteran.
One Other cousin lives in St James City. I visited in 1997 and wow has that place grown! I wonder if Ron Jon's has a post office in the building still??July and so many cars and visitiers........ FLA and AZ have grown immensely!

Good Morning, Robert. That was fun and in the video you can't feel the humidity. The last time I was there it was right after a shuttle disaster and things were pretty rundown. There was a definite feeling of absence. They had all the space shuttle exhibits draped in sheets.

Great video Robert. Next time in that area check out Jetty Park camp ground. It is located towards the ocean from Grill's. I have camped there several times and it is a short walking distance to the ocean. Full hookups as well as boondocking are available at Jetty Park.

I lived in winter haven Florida back in 2001 we rented a ocean front Condo it was so beautiful at Daytona beach loved it there. Great video Robert, thank you! 🙂👍🌻
I spent a week in Cocoa in 2012. I stayed at the Hilton where I was going to have a great view of the rocket launch that was scrubbed, thankfully the day before so we didn't wake up in the middle of the night for nothing. If you're visiting the area, I recommend going to Lone Cabbage, which is inland off of 528. They have airboat rides on the St. John's River where you can see alligators and pink flamingos, and when you're done you can have alligator meat at the snack bar.

Love your vids Robert. We just got home from Topsail Hill Preserve State Park near Destin in the panhandle. We were there for 2 weeks. What a great place! If you haven’t checked it out you need to!👍🏻

I live 2 hrs away and only visited the place once but cocoa beach has history with the space program.
That Camp Ground is called "Carr's Park" by the locals. I LOVE living here.

i stayed at a hotel here in port canaveral last year in december becuase me and my family had to catch a cruise ship at port everglades in fort lauderdale and i would go back to port canavral for the weekend and go see the sights and sounds of coco beach

NASA had a little cafe there called "the Lunch Pad." LOL I was over at my Aunt's house a few times and could see the shuttles going up ( at night ) from her house in Lake Wales. Neat.

You drove by Teen Missions in Merritt Island. I worked with them when I was a teen in the 90s.
Nice video. I'm over there all the time. It was like you're tracing my steps walking on the pier to the end. The restaurants at the port and the pier have live entertainers all the time. I think they go from one place to another every few days.
Robert, you really captured the essence of Coco. Good thing since the pier might not be here after the weekend. I still prefer driving on the beach at New Smyrna but this was nice. Gotta hitch up now and get my rig out of O-town. Good luck to you and yours.

You should add the Cedar Key Seafood Festival, Oct. 19-20, 2019 event. My wife and I attend every year. Very
nice small home town event. We camp at Cedar Key RV resort it is about 6 miles out of town. Well kept and clean, concrete pads, water, sewer and electric of course. There are rv camps closer to town but tight and crowded.
