Vivian, when you were commenting about how empty the house felt when the children were in school it made me remember how that years ago when both my children were in school I turned both the tv and radio on because the house felt so empty. They are both married now and I miss those days a lot.
You are absolutely amazing. I see myself making this in all kinds of fabric and colors. I must wear a hat in the summer because of my health. I am not allowed to be out without a hat or sleeves. Thank you so very much for the clear explanation. I will probably add a ribbon or something to dress it up, but I love it. Also, thanks for showing us your face. You are as beautiful as you are talented. On a side note, I only had 1 child and when you only have one, they don’t have anyone else to talk to or play with but you when they’re home. Although, I loved her to death, I looked forward to school. When she grew up and moved out it was difficult because we did everything together. She got married and only had one child. Then my grandson grew up and had 3 children, 2 boys and a girl. It’s sure is different when you have to deal with different personalities. They love being at my house and doing things with me although the two older ones are teenagers. I love being with them so it worked out well.

Andrea, I loose 20 pounds by only eat 1/day and in the summer I eat lot of watermelon, mango... and try not to eat rice too much. I'm now 110 pounds, feeling like a feather LOL Love you Vivian

Hi Vivian, I need a Church hat and I got some satin back crêpe fabric and, would like the satin the outter side, what interfacing do I use this will be the first time using this kind of fabric for a dressed hat, thank you and be blessed.
You can use fabric interfacing, it’s easy to find at Walmart or any fabric store. You need a medium weight so it help to hold the shape of the hat well I hope this helps Love Vivian
