*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*

If a young person/child has diabetes then it is most likely Type 1 Diabetes (this occurs because the pancreas does not produce any insulin). This is not the same as Type 2 Diabetes (in this condition, the pancreas is producing insulin but it is not being used by the body leading to insulin resistance and other metabolic disorders. Type 1 is not reversible but can be managed with proper medical guidance.

This video was truly insightful and got a sense of Dr. Shetty’s deeply personal journey and research on this topic. However, the recent news of Dr. Shetty's sudden demise due to a massive cardiac arrest is both tragic and shocking. Throughout the video, he documented his three-decade-long battle with diabetes and its associated conditions. Dr. Shetty displayed great enthusiasm for his LCHF diet and the related changes it brought about in his life. These changes included lower LDL levels, higher HDL levels, increased energy, and reduced reliance on medications. However, we are now left wondering what went wrong.
It is crucial for us to examine whether there are any gaps in our understanding of the diet and lifestyle changes Dr. Shetty recommended in the video. I implore medical professionals to thoroughly analyze this case, as well as other similar incidents like that of Puneet Rajkumar, in order to shed light on what individuals like Dr. Shetty may have overlooked. As a layperson who has been learning about these lifestyle changes, I speculate that Dr. Shetty's health significantly improved by 2023 compared to June 2019. Nonetheless, it is possible that he may have pushed himself beyond the limits of his heart's capabilities, considering he was a 69-year-old individual with moderate health. On that fateful day, perhaps he simply overexerted himself on the treadmill, leading to the tragic outcome.
The passing of Dr. Shetty serves as a reminder of the importance of understanding our bodies' limitations and practicing moderation in our pursuit of health and wellness. It is my hope that further analysis by medical experts will provide valuable insights and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Sorry, for this question. I have heard that rice and wheat should be taken less or avoided. Are millets also bad? Now every where there is mention of millets being good for diabetic people. Would you please suggest as to what should be included in a meal .instead of rice ,chapati .
