President Murmu, Vice-President Dhankar call 'Emergency' as the darkest chapter of Indian democracy

President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday addressed the joint session of the Parliament where she launched a scathing attack on Emergency imposed by the then Congress government in 1975 and said that it was the “biggest” and “darkest” chapter of the direct attack on the Constitution.
