Had a few of these, just got another today about 5 inches. Fingers crossed he starts becoming active soon

Cool. I love Green terrors. I've had 2 for a year and they were in a community. Switch flipped when I moved to a new house. The female is about the size af a bluegill and very very aggresive. The other is small but now super mean. Great fish. My female gt has her own 55 gallon for now.
Very nice. I have one myself 4 months old. He can get very aggressive.. Do they grow teeth?
Mine isnt aggressive at all. I think its because there are actually 2 different species that look almost the same being called green terror. One is aggressive and the other is not. And yeah, i believe all cichlids have teeth.
They have teeth further back in the throat area.
And are one of the lesser aggressive cichlid only during mateing are they really aggressive.
He just killed my tiger Oscar. Same size.. I spotted 2 little white teeth in his mouth on the upper lip.
If he has teeth on his uper lip its not a Green Terror

Green terror is not recommended in community tank unless you have a big cichlids in tank and keeping it single will be much aggressive and harm all small fishes/plants there should be at least a pair.
