My signature color has always been jet black, oriental black. Once, many many years ago I dyed my hair an Auburn color and could only leave it for one week. I quickly dyed it back black. I look best in black hair. And you are right, it makes everything pop. Probably why I always get comments on my eyes.

I think for me and my new microlocs journey- 3 months in 🤗 my goals would be healthy locs first and foremost but to really be intentional about listening to my locs, educate myself, and do what is best for my microlocs regardless of "rules" lol

Still Nia Bia I have been quite the fraghead recently. I just purchased “Tonka” by Solinotes at Target and it’s a gorgeous jasmine/toffee scent. Solinotes are pretty respected in the frag community so they’re also worth a sniff if you’re browsing Tarjay.
Sis, just focus on a technician who will focus on someone who knows how to interlock very well and who will focus on the health of your locs, not it just being a Sisterlock technician. You are not following the Sisterlock regime so don't pigeon hole your search for that technician who will judge or get salty with you when you don't show up every 6 weeks or so. That will be someone who is not about the money...but who is about health of the loc.

I am open to any professionals who can help me care for my hair. The person who maintained my locs before the pandemic was not a sisterlocks consultant =)

I used to use henna before my embracing my gray hair. Just be warned henna is messy but they do have henna with indigo, so your hair can be dark.
