I'm going to use a kettle bell. Also your other videos helped my get through the fitness aspect of my karate grading yesterday better than some higher grades. Thanks again.

Matt Pasquinilli I started Karate about 6 months ago and was graded to 9th Kyu yesterday (red belt). I had definitely improved since my 10 Kyu grading I have more drive when I'm getting exhausted to keep going. But although I was pleased I want to be even better for the next one.

Really great exercises. Always looking for new ways to Jazz up grip training. Doing Kettlebell crush curls which brings hands and grip and forearms into play a more is another good one for Martial artists.

Wow you’re in good shape! If I do these exercises will I get as bulky as you? I’ve been trying to pack on some muscle by doing shoulder press, shoulder flys, curls, triceps kick backs, skull crushers, chest flys, and dumbbell chest press. I’ve only been doing them a few times a week for about a month so I’m hoping If I stay consistent that I’ll start to bulk up. Should I add the exercises in this video to my routine?

No you won’t get bulky. I’m naturally thick and wide from genetics. If you focus on lower weight with higher reps, you will lean out but not bulk up. Diet is the most important part of getting lean though. At your age, if you change the way you eat, you will lean out very quickly.

Yes definitely add the video routine. But focus on push-ups and squats every day and your body will change faster.

Ok. Will do. Thanks for the advice sir and I appreciate it. Great videos btw. Excellent advice. I’ll try to eat better and stay consistent. Hopefully I’ll slim back down. I use to kick box a lot more often and it kept me skinny but over the course of the last two years I’ve put on a lot fat due to poor diet and exercise habits. It’s crazy how practically over a year and a half I put on about 30 lbs of fat. In my early videos I weighed around 165 lbs and now I weigh about 200lbs. That’s to heavy for my height because I’m only 5 foot 9. Thanks again for the advice.

Nick Stevens Martial Arts if you eat in a smaller window “intermittent fasting” you’ll shred that 30 pounds by July 1. I eat between 1pm and 8pm. Supplement with Apple Cider vinegar and cinnamon for blood sugar balance and to help with initial hunger.
