I have made a handful of small baskets from your previous upcycling fabric scraps video. I gathered several bags of fabric scraps from my community and now I'm ready to make a ton more for gifts!
I wonder how long this takes? I’m making a small coil basket from raffia I learnt at a weaving workshop last Friday - my fingers, hands and wrists get a bit sore when I sit for a while just using simple blanket stitch. I like to tighten my stitches - but raffia is a bit expensive so I was looking up ways to do it frugally or better yet free! I have experimented with fabric scrap fibre and now I see the plastic bag method or denim jeans which one would be heavy and the other lighter - I like both ideas. Now I am super excited to take your technique and so it with a lot of old clothing I have and donated clothing from family to me (for my art and crafting purposes). I plan to make a basket and a basket bag I can use. This is a very good video with beautiful results thank you for posting this tutorial! 😊
Thanks to you! In general is slow stitching, so it takes a little bit to finish every single piece. You can make these basket with only old clothes for the external part and for the core. Hope it helps 🙂
Wow. Voglio assolutamente provare!!! Puoi fare vedere l' intero procedimento?
