I've been renting for 4yrs and I'm only just getting around to making it my own. I was too scared to do much before coz as you know you have to leave it as you found it. And these are such a great help to me for personalising my home. I might use the potty time cubby for shoes coz I have 4 kids who have a million pairs of shoes lol. And I love the Moroccan wall idea. We've also put fabric with mandala patterns in my daughter's room instead of paint and it looks lovely. Covers the whole wall. Tfs Angela 😁 xx

I don't understand why people are so concerned about what you do with your hands, play with your hair or twitch, etc. What's important is the message and the tips the video is offering. I can't stand how people are so judgemental about everything!!!
RunwayDoneMYWAY I didn’t have a small mind nor was I following the other that commented. I was hoping you would take it as conservative and try not to do those things that we the viewers find distracting. Your design are on point and I will use some of them. But really the finger combing and head tilt IS distracting.

It totally did! It was so ugly before I would watch TV and just stare at it and be annoyed! Once I designed it, t really made the whole apartment look so much more elegant. Cake trays are fun, I love me some bling!

Hi Sarah:)Awe you have a garden....I am so jealous. I want one so bad.When the time comes Ikea has inexpensive quick deck tiles. I got mine at Home Depot, so they were pricey. The Ikea ones are a mixed wood color, but you can always paint them whatever color you want. Takes a bit longer but that way it is cheaper and customized;)

Once I finished, it literally extended my living space because it was so nice to look at from the living room. The kitty likes her new space much better :) Thanks for the comment. The balcony was heaven for me...the before was the worst but very common. The stained floor and ugly pipes hanging off the side wall. I wool get in a bad mood just looking at it, lol. Pictures frames were fun to do.
Happy you liked it, if you like my home decor videos I have some killer new stuff. This one is from 5 years ago. I revamped ikea barstools into more of a glam nailhead trim design and this cubby I found by my dumpster into the cutest mini bar.

Love all your ideas. Cat cabinet is genius the way you executed it. Thank you. An idea you might want to consider for metallic snake wall paper that you can take with you. Buy silver aluminum metal paint and paint that onto a canvas painter's drop cloth, and then a snake stencil used in the colors that you want (greys, creams, or tans and brown, etc) on top of this. Use velcro sticky backed strips to hang on your accent wall. The painter's canvas has a rough texture that adds depth to your design, and they come in several sizes that will cover a wall from top to bottom. If you want something more "permanent you can paint on hardboard foam strip attached to your wall and do the same painting techniques after gesso or using another sealer.
