great stuff ! i've got some questions regarding Mazes, unit placement. - it's mentioned in the steam announcement that the unit sent in the maze is the least fatigued one. is there a system in place to prevent low-mobility units to get sent in there (and possibly not being able to get out even while going straight for the exit) ? - loving the archer rebalance. which reminded me of an issue i often have while playing. i think the game would greatly benefit from having a sort of "placement turn" where you place your units in your chosen position in a set area. would really help with situations where a melee unit gets stuck behind other units, rendering it unusable unless you spend x number of turns getting them out. this probably could also help the archer with the new range system. looking forward to the next patch !
> is there a system in place to prevent low-mobility units to get sent in there Yes, but I didn't want to spoil it :) > i think the game would greatly benefit from having a sort of "placement turn" Totally agree! we've had this as an internal feature for a LONG time (it was the default-and-only option originally) but we found that for new players it leads to option-paralysis trying to solve the room on the first turn. We plan to to integrate manual placement for experienced players in future updates though because it IS fun trying to solve the room in one turn.
Happy that the yt algo brought me here, love the game!
i 100% agree with the title

Not a fan of the archer update. I like my archer shooting anywhere. I don’t like it being limited
I hear you, it's definitely a little less fun. Balance is a difficult area in any game and we're still tuning everything so it MAY change again.
