Miss RIA your preperation and your explanations is perfect..the taste is top of the line.."yes I can taste it😄 b4 u said dont mind the miss match cover I was about to Google a white and green pot for cooking ...😅😅😅🤣😄 Cuz it looks so cute lol
Thank you I'm going too try that that really looks Delicious 😋 also show how to make that rice you named that your going to cook to go with your curry chicken
Thanks for the video. I only recently heard about this from a Guyanese TH-camr. I never had this in Trinidad. I noticed that you put the curry in the seasoning. I am used to burning the curry in the beginning, but I guess you can't do this if you have to burn the sugar. I will try your recipe and see if I like it. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Thx Ria. I don’t ever recall such large portions of sugar use in curries. A raw Turbinado or Cane-based sugar may not be as sweet as Regular molasses-based or denser content sugar. Alll-in-All a great recipe. A Malaysian-Chinese friend continues to order her special curry mix from her home country. Very light and delightful fragrance.🧡💛💚
@@AnakiteOG Yes, I Am aware of the brown sugar, however, I’ve lived in Trinidad & Venezuela. My Grandma was a chef. She was paid well to prepare foods. My Mom R.I.P also made stew chicken altho the Venezuelan recipe & the Trini Indian recipes are a little different. Everyone has different tastes. It’s probably what one gets accustomed to. The Malay- Chinese Chef’s was mouth-watering. My choice.I like the Indian taste as well. South India, Wow! Cudn’t stop eating over there @ some of the best high-quality restaurants. My relatives were also part-Chinese, part Afro-Caribbean, part Indigenous. Thx

Yes I can--what type of bake would you like to see?
No water was added? No roucou?
Nope
MISS RIA WHERE DO I GET GREEN SEASONING
Please check out my recipe!
cookingwithria.com/2013/03/caribbean-green-seasoning-recipe.html
Is there a way we can order the curry from your friend
Where did the chicken get all that water from? Did you add water or was it simmering from the chicken?
Yummy!!! What is the yellow liquid? Is that Dhal gravy/soup? Recipe for that please!
Thank you! Yes it is dhal, see recipe:
cookingwithria.com/2011/11/trinidad-dhal-recipe-and-a-story-about-grandma.html
Damm dat looks real NICE
السلام علیکم ماشاءاللّٰه 💕👌🙏🏻
Very straight forward video! I'm definitely going to try this. What was the yellow soup at the end?
Dhal. It is made with yellow split peas.
Yum yum lol
Do you make vegetarian dishes?
Yes of course. Please check my playlists and blog cookingwithria.com❤️
O.m.g 😋
Ah metal spoon?
Why apologize for the color of you pans. You have a great product and I thought the color combo was fantastic
Delivious nice thinñck colour
Thank you! Cheers!
No reason to brown the sugar with oil, the sugar browns by itself less OIL

This recipe is a mashup of stewed chicken and curry chicken. Stewed chicken calls for the brown sugar.
