The big round glass ball the size of your hand with all the different colors, in the box with the puppy plate, is a end of the day marble. It is made with all the left over colors at the end of the day making marbles. It will usually have a clear spot at one end where it came off the cane. You can look through the spot and see all the colors on the inside as well. My mother bought me one back in the 80's and it was at least $60 back then but not sure of the prices now.

I got one for my husband as a gift and it was very pretty where it stood for a couple of years. But if they break, watch out! What's inside is a very greasy liquid that is very difficult to clean up.

We loved and still do the bc comic that still runs in our paper today! The Bc comic bowls were given out as the gas station! With a fill up!! 😀😀

I remember my parents getting a BC drinking glass or mug as a promo gift from the local gas station upon fill up. Back in the 70's of course! So fun to see them again!

That airplane is a Lockheed Constellation. There's one on the cover of Frank Sinatra's "Come fly with me" album. It was a symbol of the golden age of elegant airplane travel.

The container with hole in bottom is for can of condensed milk. Push finger in hole to get can out when empty. Love your search for goodies.
Wow how lucky to have found Hagen Renaker horses, not broken, and one still has its paper. Used to be able to find them in Flemington, NJ. in a glassware factory where they did mostly etching on drinking glasses.

Andrew is right on the buckles, at least 100 years old! Everything in every box was awesome, and yeah I do the same as Eric - I keep my sets in 'evens' and either donate the spare or sell it later in a bulk collection with other 'orphans'. The 40s travel set is made nicer when you consider back then it was only a fairly new mode of passenger transport; still mostly for the upper classes.
please Andrew buy the damaged figurines and sell them as a lot ...I do crafting..i can replace the missing parts or sometimes hide them in tiny dioramas ...
We have been putting a box together of that stuff.

I am so glad to see this video, several of the items are already up for sale, I had no idea they were this small, The one improvement I would appreciate in the listings would be measurements or better pics showing size, especially of the smalls.

Omgosh, I would have just kept every box, and everything in every box❤️❤️😆 all the animal figurines, one of a kind finds, that lamp,,,you better invest in bubble wrap or newspaper!! WRAP IT UP.. I carry both with me whenever I got antiquing, thrifting, to many times go home and something either cracked or chipped 😫😭
the miniatures are wonderful... I bought a toy hutch and put them up there, and it is so adorable. (it's on my mantle and people visit and get lost looking at all the little people and animals...). I sell the bigger stuff, but I have to have something to purchase for myself!!!

That Bennington owl tile/plaque is definitely hoard-worthy!
Eldreth pottery had partnered with Sturgis Pretzels to create some pretzel themed items just for them. I visited the old Sturgis Pretzel museum in Lititz last year. If you ever get there it's a hoot. The building dates back to the 1700's and it's where the hard pretzel was born. I looked at the Sturgis website and see they now have Robesonia Redware making pretzel bowls for them.

Drew I LOVE how wear "cool" sunglasses, ladybug pins, etc with confidence. You can totally pull it off.
That Halloween noice maker reminds me of the late 60s. I had one almost identical to it when I was a little girl. Maybe early 70s.
They also make those same noisemakers in the 1950s because I had that one and a matching metal bell noisemaker before I started school in 1959.

That tiny glass unicorn at the end, my gma gave me that same one when I was born, it was broke last year by my dog. 🥺
Heather Chere, we have cats. Everything that is breakable is behind glass. I had an irreplaceable bronze overlay dolphin statue that was signed by my favorite marine life artist. It was broken years ago supposedly by my cat but I am certain the my sister in law broke it. But because my youngest cat is constantly climbing on stuff we have everything behind glass.

BC bowls. My mom had some. There were also mugs and a few other pieces. I think they were give aways at gas stations in the 60s.
Yes they were a gas station premium.
I have that same Viking "Flowerlite" green glass rose bowl and flower frog . Wow , you found some great things in those boxes ! Eric always seems to have really good stuff. It makes me wish I was still dealing in antiques and collectibles. I think most of the fun is in looking for the treasures, and the people you meet along the way.
Those BC bowls were a gift with gas from the Marathon Gas Station. There are several pieces that goes with those bowl. I know this because my Dad worked at the gas station and we have the whole collection. Came out in the 70's.

I love the teddy bear lady bug pin. I used to sit and watch bears at an old dump with my Nana and PopPop. And one year their house got infested with hundreds of lady bugs. So it really fits and reminds me of them on 2 counts.
That puppy is everything! You must adopt that ceramic pooch and put a lil scarf on him and give him a home. If anything Haeger can land on his head for a photo opt. The dog rocks!~
I have the bottoms of 2 of the fairy lights. One in that color and one in white. They are Westmoreland and I didn't know they had tops to them. I thought they were just candle holders. I've had them for years and years and never seen tops. Good luck to me now finding them!
Oh and the piano babies, I just about had a heart attack when I saw you holding onto one by it's hand. LOL
My Great G’Ma, G’Aunties and their friends are turning in their graves at all the tinkling glass! Few know that some of the small crocheted “doilies” were put between the “good China” plates and bowls so they wouldn’t even klinck when you took them out one piece at a time to dress the table for important persons coming to visit.

That little blue and white jug, that is danish, Royal Copenhagen. Very expensive over her in Denmark. In Danish it's called "musselmalet" and Musselmalet in engelsk fajance mrk. Denmark, Furnival. Or also know as Fluted. It is old, but they still make it and it is still expensive one coffee cup costs about $53. Another Danish name you should keep an eye open for is George Jensen.

Drew is absolutely correct the bones below represent Jesus' triumph over death. It is believed that the bones of Adam, who with the sin of Eve, brought about death through sin to all humanity, are buried deep in the ground below the Crucifixion site. God taking His mighty Sabre, the Cross with Jesus on it, thrust it into the ground claiming back the His children that Satan had stolen. Of course, one must believe in Jesus and His gift of Salvation to be saved. 😇

The little animals on the cards have been made in San Dimas for as long as I can remember. The plant was right down the street from my grandma's house. I collected those as a kid and also bought them for my great grandmother when I was young. Lol and I cringed at how you pronounced San Dimas lol.

I was soooo happy to see Jocelyn’s reaction to that chihuahua! I’ve got two brown chihuahua figurines in different poses that I adore. My husband had the same reaction as Drew - I’m sure he can’t wait for them to sell. They’re about half the size of yours but that’s still too much chihuahua figurine for his tastes. 😂
