I have all my materials laid out but don’t have black wax… only brown and a white wax and I love the black so what do you think about trying black shoe polish? It's beautiful. Curious, do you do anything to your molds or the clay? For some reason I can not get DAS clay out of my molds intact. Maybe I just got a bad batch?
i did have the same issue in the past but then whenever my clay is too soft i would just oil the mold a tiny bit with a q-tip dipped into some oil (vegetable, cosmetic, any).
I just use Das as it is, sometimes it’s more sticky than others, but I rarely have to do anything extra to get it out. As Lena suggested, try oiling the mould, and also if it’s refusing to come out nicely pop it in the freezer for 10 minutes, it’ll help :)

I never varnish before crackle, you’re supposed to varnish after but this time I used waxes over so that should be ok 👌
