It always amazes me how good people are at building in the sims It takes me 2-6 months to finish the floorplan.

@@Plumbobi I love shell challenges but I feel embarrassed because they have been working on this for a short amount of time and it has taken me like 10 months to finish an apartment.
I spend like 3 hours organizing 5 plants

These creators have the patience of a saint. I have tried things like this but get so frustrated. I just don't have the patience to place hundreds of little rocks to make a wall. Seeing these is very de-motivational.
I know this would be so much work, but I think it would be so cool to see all of Newcrest built up with the same shell
I've been playing this game for so long, but my buildings look like awkward boxes. They haven't changed much from those I used to make at the age of 12... Gosh, I'm so impressed by skills of some simmers.

The yellow house definitely gives me lesbians with their twins and teenage child vibes. They had the teen then wanted another child so they get a surrogate and surprise it’s twins so they wanted a bigger house so they moved to this house that started out as a fixer-upper and turned it into this haven. Idk maybe that’s just me.

Honestly thought I was the only one dealing with the evergreen harbor bug. I took my sim on a date there and was so shocked to see the void. I just left, thinking it was some glitch. I never went back but I didn’t think it was a legit problem and for other people too.
I like the playable theme of these builds, past shell challenges are amazing but not as usable day to day

This was such a fun challenge- I did it while in isolation with a mild case of covid and it truly filled up my cup (not to mention gave me a much needed distraction!). So fun to see how everyone else interpreted the shell!

I love to see these she'll challenge builds. So many different ways that people find with the same 'box'. It's great, it's what makes one aspect of the sims so versatile and I love the variety that breaks the mold!

Salam_biscuits build was so amazing! Loved all the little apartments having different styles. It felt like all of them had so much heart! I could really imagine all the people living there and the fun scenarios you could play with those neighbours. Great job!

So many good builds. The souvenir shop was very cute, loved the victorian build. One of my faves are those apartments. Well done!
These are all so good! Insane amount of time must have gone into some of them so well done to everybody there! I did make an attempt at this one - I tried to go with a blue and orange sort of goldfish colourscheme and I tried to make the roof look like a fish - but I never quite got to finishing it in time with Christmas and New Year - but I still had fun with it! Hopefully I'll have more time for your next one!

The Modern Artisan reminds me of that one house in Sunset Valley in The Sims 3. I kept getting career gigs there, and I liked how it used mezzanines.

but ma'am, you move that camera around so much i paused frequently to see what was going on in these houses
