You misunderstood SBM credit card. It is not a regular credit card. It is a FD linked credit card. Whatever money you load to that SBM account will create a FD account automatically. That amount will be your credit limit. You get around 7.5% interest on that amount.

Niyo sbm lo amount load cheste first it will go to FD and same amount meeku credit limit istaru and after month end meeku bill generate avtundi and you need to pay that bill amount. Because of this manam deposit chesina amount that went to FD will be blocked for one year. 2. To avoid this what we can do is instead of creating a FD pay credit bill directly for example 80K. Then you will have negative credit card balance and buy a drone with that. After month end meeku asalu bill payment em generate avadu because of this method.

I used both those cards in Australia and Singapore credit card is issued against FD so your 80k was in FD it's like card against FD. Coming to DCB debit TCS was charged till 26th April. From 27 April no TCS was collected.

U told u ignored it & again 2nd month ki u got another statement with old balance along with some penalty. Niyo SBM Debit card is now useless as we cannot do international transactions due to RBI guidelines. Niyo SBM credit card has many loopholes as rightly said by Raji Reddy. I am not liking it. Currently Niyo DCB debit card is best in Niyo cards. In all the Niyo cards, airport lounge is now spend based. Min 50K we need to spend. Even in website also they are still advertising wrongly as free lounge access
