I don't know why JP isn't rated higher. They reverted nerfs they gave him, and improved his level 2. He is definitely back up there with Ken, Rashid, Akuma
His archetype doesn't require fast walk speed. He is an amazing zoner who has rush down capabilities and has some of the best whiff punishing buttons in the game.
@@stefanobailey740 Simply wrong. Those strengths make up for his terrible walk speed, and his whiff punishing is severely hurt by bad walk speed and slower than average normals. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Even this current patch. I didn't say JP was the best character, but he is up there. What about season 1? He was rated as top 1 or 2. His walk speed hasn't changed. Your logic is flawed.
