This is amazing! I really love the horse's coat, it's really well done! Might I make a suggestion that if to clean up your line, instead of going through the awful process of erasing around the outline you could have your outline on a separate layer, use the fuzzy select tool, I'm not sure what program you use so it might be called something else, click outside of the outline to select everything around the outline (given that all the lines in the outline are connecting) when you get the marching ants of what you want to delete just select your layer with the coloring and delete. Hope this helps in some way :)
Yep, I know exactly the tool you're talking about! I didn't use it for this one, since my lines were not complete and closed, and at certain parts I didn't follow my lines [like the legs] so I didn't want the wrong parts to be erased.
