APD Body Worn Camera of the Month: Drone Helps Officers Find Felony Suspect Who Ran

In late February, APD officers were out looking for a suspect who had multiple active felony warrants.
They tracked him to a vacant home he'd broken into in the southwest part of the city -- but before they had a chance to set up a perimeter, he snuck out a back window and made a run for it.
Because it was dark outside at the time, he was able to get away. But thanks to drone technology, it didn't take long for officers to find him again.
