Wee tip for using your saw with thicker firewood - cut half way through then whack the wood on a rock, it'll split (like kindling), spin the wood and whack again for the second piece then complete your cut or stamp on the last piece. 4 bits of kindling without getting the knife out👍
I used to fly model aeroplanes and one day about 10 years ago while out at the field, which is out in the wild, just off the Nant Y Garth pass near Ruthin in North Wales, I noticed all the sheep in a field across the valley running faster than I've ever seen, a couple of seconds later something larger than the sheep and all black appeared behind them. It definately wasnt a sheep dog or anything similar and chased the sheep right across the field until I couldnt see them anymore. I reckon that was a big cat and there have been loads of sightings in Chester, which isnt all that far and would be easily accessible over mostly wilderness a lot of the way

Saw your boat at Laxey harbour, I also have a warrior 165🎉 (2014) with a 70 hp Suzuki and as I live near Ulverston south lakes I fish from walney near barrow in furnace , Morecambe bay. You are spoilt for choice on the Isle of Man and I fancy bringing my boat over in the future. Anyhow keep up the good work .Joe
