The difference between you and those who without a doubt know that FP was a great, legendary singer.. is that you think greatness is measured by popularity and we know it is measured by skill and talent. Some of the artist you mentioned were not better singers than Frankie, they were just more marketable for the times they were in. Also, if you believe that Frankie did not have original tunes then it goes to show that you don't even know enough of his catalog to have a real say on his abilities. Furthermore, singing covers (and singing them well and sometimes even better than the original artist) is a commendable talent (Look at Sanchez!). A lot of well known tunes are written by producers and writers and hardly ever solely by the artist themselves anyway! That's like saying a chef cannot be great by having his own spin on well known meals.. or an athlete cannot be great because he hasn't invented his own sport. Come on now... @@blairboyd5617
