    Karan, I am professional financial planner.
    Your insights were truly good especially of simple investing, long term journey, role of an advisor to avoid making mistakes.
    I have seen people make these mistakes. I trust they learn from you!

    Remember he has accumulated 15 crores starting as an entry level professional and kept building over years.
    Also he has stayed invested.
    Had you invested 1 rupee in Nifty bees in 2018 it would be 1.9 rupees.
    It went above below. Never should you sell.

      Yes. The investing journey has been long and like I said I am trained to deal with volatility. It helped that I had a good advisor.

    I'm not kidding when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and
    worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it
    perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it Investing is a long-term game, so focus on the long run.

      I can’t focus on the long run when I should be retiring in 3years, you see I’ve got good companies in
      my portfolio and a good amount invested, but my profit has been stalling, does it mean this recession/unstable market doesn’t provide any calculated risk opportunities to make profit?

    • @AimiHiroshi
      @AimiHiroshi ปีที่แล้ว

      There are a lot of strategies to make tongue wetting profit especially in a down market, but such
      sophisticated trades can only be carried out by proper market experts

      that guides you?

    • @AimiHiroshi

      Definitely! All of this happened in less than a year after *STEPHANIE KOPP MEEKS* told me what to do. I
      started with less than $100,000, and now I'm about 18,000 short of having a quarter million dollars!

    Superb Karan ji......very inspiring, but how a person having average salary will save and accumulate this much and now a days in metro cities like Delhi even with 1 lakh per month salary it is hard to save. Also in lieu of earning more and retire early lot of people have tried and lost in FNO during covid specially. But your story is very inspiring and we should try to learn and start doing something.

    Hi sir, I am on the same path and have accumulated a significant amount which would be 50% of my desired target. How can I double my corpus by 100% in the next 6-7 years? Is mutual fund route better than direct equities for my requirement?

    • @anuj_kesarwani
      @anuj_kesarwani ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi
      I am a Financial Advisor
      Good to see that you are already half way on your target corpus.
      To go to 100%, you just need to double your corpus from here. You have 6 to 7 years investment horizon. That means you just require 10% to 12% compounded annual returns. This is very much possible in an average mutual fund.
      Stay invested. All the best!

    Karan, do you see a potential scenario when inflation cools that RBI starts cutting interest rates heavily to the point that retirees will be forced to live off their principal?

    • @KaranDatta
      @KaranDatta ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Long way to go for that. But if that happens then gilt funds will be the biggest gainers because of marked to market gains. For the future, the fixed income allocation would then need to be readjusted for reinvestment risk.
