A lot of Air Force pilot candidates flunk out when they cannot take the g's they pull when doing maneuvers. When the brain does not get enough oxygen during a steep climb or a transition from a dive to a climb, some pass out.

I ride the slingshot every time at the fair and to be honest it looks a lot scarier than it is. It definitely never reaches the speeds of the faster roller coasters and the g force is medium at most. It's really just the concept
