Nike's treatment of Clark is, in my opinion, the corporate equivalent to the brutal assaults she faced on the court each night from other players. Nike, like everyone else associated with the WNBA, just turned a blind eye to the biggest superstar in the WNBA. She did not appear in a single ad for Nike all season long, not even one! She was totally ignored until Adidas came along and made it clear "If Nike wants to throw you to the curb, WE will give you the attention and bling you deserve!" This scared the heck out of Nike and finally woke up the sleeping promoters at Nike. It's like Nike intentionally signed her, then kept her locked up, not to advance its product, but to keep her away from everyone else and to minimize her as a player. Sadly for Nike, Clark's talent is too great to hide, despite the efforts by that company to keep her out of its product publicity. Nike had even (reportedly) backed away from its original pledge to release a Clark shoe in 2024... pushing it back, some say, to as far away as 2027!! That has now apparently changed and Nike is trying hard to get that shoe out within months, not years. Clark is being too nice in accepting the Nike apology. That company was ready to literally let her sit in limbo until it became clear there were others in the corporate world (Adidas) willing to do what it was unwilling to do, promote her to the world. I honestly wish Clark had rejected Nike the way that company rejected her all season long.

The way I see it, Nike gave CC 28 mil. he lost his job, shit canned, and hired NEW CEO, who gave the so-called black movement choice, AJ a contract, The black lawyers who run this( league )? have no interest doing what's right, all these thugs that were told to assault CC, did just that with the help of ref's coaches, ESPN FEMALE jerks that were told to not say any good things about CC, of course, Swoops that racist fat pig, jumped all over CC, lying about everything, Stats, The one thing that bothers me most, is that these black jerks in power, only care about there control, not these young children who are looking up to them as their hero, 20% of this league is thugs, Getto, no sense of fairness, only I deserve this, and this is ours, You just can't change STUPID. AND THAT'S WHO RUNS THE SHOW..I LIKE WHAT YOU SAID THERE KEN.

NIKE had to please the DEI agenda, so they felt they had promote A'ja Wilson first or face backlash from the black community.

I have several NIKE SHOES that started separating while still new, even cheap shoes don't fail quickly. Buy other brands of shoes that last longer.

Caitlin Clark already accepted the apology and agreed to Nike's proposals. If Caitlin wanted more, she had the right timing and right condition to do so, but she didn't. If she felt bad about how she was treated by Nike, she also had the opportunity to say that to Nike, but she didn't. The way I see it, if CC can't tell it straight to the sponsor, how can she be the champion of women players in the WNBA. Perhaps she's really satisfied with what Nike had done to her and she's just playing the fans.

I suspect that the executive that was assigned to promote Caitlin Clark isn’t a fan and maybe even be someone who dislikes (hates?) her and what she has done for women’s sports. Add to that the higher up weren’t monitoring the handling of her account and jump on the handler for blowing their chance. If I had been the account executive I’d have timed the release of the shoe with the all star game - “An All Star Shoe for an All Star Player.”

It’s Nike’s loss and Adidas’ gain. As one of Caitlyn’s fans, our family is boycotting Nike until Caitlyn’s shoes come out.

This is not about gender. The WNBA doesn't bring in big viewership like the NBA. Therefore less money for then. CC is the exception because she's actually good and brought in viewership.

I could care less what color CC is. No one should have been treated in the WNBA like she was. So, I am of the belief that anyone with talent like hers who comes to the WNBA will be treated like she was. The executives, coaches, on down to the referees said and did nothing. This is why viewership has been so low until CC showed up. I am also inclined to believe that mediocrity is the make-up of the WNBA.

With CC’s first two play-off games, with so many fans watching - you would think the Reffs would be smart enough too not miss calls on other players fouling CC !!
    Well clearly their not smart.

With good lawyer, Caitlin Clark can always bind her-self to Adidas - because, in a Sound Contract, One Party must not do anything to dishonour the Other Party nor do anything to dislodge-or-displace the Other Party and the Contract. To make Noble-and-Civil Protest, Caitlin Clark can wear the Indian Shoe (the Red American Shoe made of Animal Skin) in her Practice Game/s - and; likewise, give the due Recognition to the First Americans, the Red Indians. GOD bless the USA, Fever-&-Caitlin, the Free World and the Truth Seekers.

I still wonder if this story is true BECAUSE to two building sized ads, I believe, were part of her contract with Nike during college, and I believe at least one of them is related to her NCAA record, which was pre Fever. I still think this is just more Click Bait to run the Nike/Adidas STORY as far as they can with no real outcome. Same for the string that says she's playing or going to play in Europe this winter. Such a troll.
