    You should try conservative Schwab, open a custodial account with them. Look them up. No fees.

    I have Utma accounts @ Citibank for my children.. I wondering if i can purchase stock from the money in the utma accounts?.. Thank u

      I think you should be able to, it doesn't really matter where you're getting your money from to invest. You may want to check with your bank to be safe.

      Good question! I don't believe you can, as they use it specifically to identify you as a citizen. I'll do some research and if I don't comment again assume you can't.

      Good question! If you mean the parents of the child are not US Citizens, it will depend on their options for investing in the stock market. Many brokers offer custodial accounts, so it's a simple matter of asking if they offer that type of account.
