I'm using your pattern for my wedding dress! :) I was wondering how exactly you drape the hem without losing the train? I'm a beginner/intermediate with sewing, so maybe this is something obvious. Hope everyone has a lovely day! xx
This skirt is giving me 1890s/Edwardian Corpse Bride because of the blue at the hemline and the shape of the skirt really works for an 1890s ball gown with an addition of width to the center back for pleats. Just add an 1890s ball gown bodice with a bit of lace, a bit of ombre fabric and you got yourself 1890s Corpse Bride. I love how sleek it looks and I would love to wear that skirt (with an addition of a petticoat and a small bustle pad for added fluff in the back)! So pretty!!!!
Thank you for walking through all of the steps! I have a blue chiffon dress I've been needing to hem, and your work has inspired me to dye the bottom of its outer layer dark to get a beautiful gradient 👍😊
I looove this skirt! But a question, would it be possible to keep the same dimensions but make it look more airy? I also have dreamed of my wedding dress having ombre blue bottom and less fluff then I usually see but I’m dreaming of it being a bit more airy and flowy. Maybe different inner fabric? Thank you for this video and your tutorial!
The commission was only for the skirt due to budget constraints, and she will be pairing it with a basic top. That's kind of how it works with commissions vs my own projects!

Beautiful. What a great idea to have incorporated the ombre into the skirt. I hope the top of the bridal dress will do the skirt justice 😍
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed, and I am sure it will!
I like that it honors the blue wedding dress traditions with the newer white dress tradition!
I saw this in your etsy shop yesterday and I am so excited because it's exactly the kind of skirt I want to make for my wedding dress!
Yay that's so awesome! You can do it!

May I ask you where can i find this silicon millimeter surface you have? Thank you very much! 🥰
what would the name of this skirt be?
like a full circle or something like that, I'm starting to get into sewing and I really want to know the name!
I bought the PDF but I am confused. How are we supposed to get the right measurements?
How many yards have you used ?
Are you going to make a bodice for it too?

I have a question how do I make the train longer and wide if I want to?
Ok so I have the pattern in front of me and I’m trying to figure out what goes where. It’s not very clear.
how many yrda did you use?
Could I commissioned you to make me a version of the skirt?
