I'm 66 years old. I've lived in brick and block homes through my years. My husband and I bought our double wide almost 5 years ago. No major problems It's so comfortable. Our power bill is lower, and it's easy to keep clean. It's full of Vintage things we love. We have what was suppose to be a small den, but I made it an extra dining room, that stays decorated in 1950's diner Christmas theme. It has a tree that stays up all year, full of Vintage Christmas. The kids Grown, and small, love that little space, and it gives us additional dining space for family dinners. I just go in, flip a switch, and Christmas comes to life, anytime we want. We love Christmas all year. We too spend lots of time on the front porch in the evening. Hoping to add a back porch in the next year or so. We have all we need, and I am So Thankful to God for it. It's so cozy. We didn't have grass either to begin with, now it's thick and beautiful...full of Crepe Mrytle Trees that are blooming. I just wouldn't want to be anywhere else. I love your home. Enjoy!
Would love to know the brand of mobile home you have..I'm seriously thinking of buying one but have heard they are not well made as far as cabinets, etc
@@dra551 It was manufactured through Nobility Homes in Ocala, Fl. We bought it at Prestige Homes in Yulee, Fl. You can upgrade anything you want in the home, including the cabinets. The house is very comfortable, very easy to heat and cool. Insulated well. I love the siding, we keep it pressure washed, and it's just as pretty as the day we bought it. Have been living in it, November will be 5 years.
I bought my first home last year - a 16 year old double wife which was in pretty good condition for the age. Painted the entire interior including cabinets and doors to modernize it and I love it so much! This plus 0.4 acres of land for only $90k! My mortgage is 1/2 the price of the cheapest 1 bedroom apartment you can find in my area

I have just said the exact same thing...so refreshing to see a real life homestead that is relatable to most and not just for Instagram and photo opportunities. Great house they have and I look forward to following along.
I love this! With small kids, it honestly is easier to be in a smaller home with an open floor plan even if it does get messy quick but it’s also more manageable and also like you said, you can keep an eye on them wherever they are. And you have your priorities right! That back covered deck is amazing and so is all the outdoor space for your chickens, garden, and for the kids to play. If you keep everything in tip top shape and keep adding new things, down the road you could totally move into your dream home and rent or sell your little Mobile home and bless another new family that has small children. My husband and I did that the first 4 years in our 1,200 sq foot ranch home that had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, fenced yard with a patio a living room and den etc. when we sold it… we found out it went to a young married couple with their first baby on the way and I know they appreciated all the work we put into the landscape, replacing old fixtures and painting and new carpet we put in.
Same I always forget how actually huge doublewides are inside and I recently discovered they can come even bigger than that 😅 If I had to guess at that point they’re way too big to put on one truck like normal so they probably come as two half’s and are joined on site but I’m not sure tbh
I’m from a small town in the south to & it’s so refreshing to just see a real life double wide like mine on the internet. I struggle so badly with trying to keep up with the big name women that I’m almost convinced clean a studio house they purchased extra just to film in or something.. there’s no way that’s their real home lol anyways, rant over. Thank you for showing real life!!
Aren't they usually single without kids? I'd prefer even a single wide to the average apartment. You can at least make creative changes without permission. Also, studio apartments are usually located in urban downtown areas. I rather have more space in a small town or rural area. Influencer moms tend to live in large suburban homes. Those mortgages are huge. There's pressure to keep posting for money if their spouse is struggling to afford their lifestyle with a traditional job. We don't get to see the details, and they often hire housekeeping and childcare workers in order to film (while hiring an editor or virtual assistants as well). Nothing is what it seems.
The most beautiful house is one full of kids. Seeing toys everywhere is just lovely because it’s a real HOME. God has blessed you with a wonderful family and you have great years ahead to create so many memories.
I enjoyed your tour, it's a lovely family oriented home! My suggestion for the wall behind your stove would be subway tiles done in a light gray, it would compliment the kitchen nicely and stand out but not in an obtrusive way, especially in a light gray, not a dark gray. It would definitely make your living room and kitchen be cohesive since you have the gray in the living room also. You've done a fine job and your home is so inviting!
Good morning Tiffany, thank you for taking us on a tour of your beautiful Doublewide home. I enjoyed watching Wyatt get into things, and just being a little toddler! Fletcher is crying so very fast. And again I say hello to all of the family . Your garden is doing really well so I want you all the time and I’m working on my garden. Thanks for the inspiration.❤😊 Miss Ruby
So refreshing to see an actual home that’s not cookie cutter still nice and homey but it’s practical to I truly loved see this realistic house tour I also love that it’s not massive but you still made it beautiful ❤
I would tile the whole wall behind the stove. It would look too broken up to only do a part of it. It will look more cohesive and be a nice focal point. We live on 80 acres, but, you are doing a lot w/your space. Good job!
I have a Hamilton single wife and I love it. We downsized from a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath in a subdivision in Tuscaloosa to this 3/2 single wide on three acres close to family in north Alabama. It’s divine and less expensive. It’s also less stress and less to clean! Thank you for sharing. I like all of your content.
Many years ago, my kitchen was, you guessed it, soft yellow! I was concerned about a backsplash behind my stove for the same reason you mentioned. Not a lot of options were available back then, especially with limited funds so all I did was to get a good sized piece of Clear contact paper & put that behind the stove. It hardly showed at all, it mostly looked like the original painted wall. It was So easy to clean after that!
Subway tile or something similar ALL THE WAY TO CEILING! My sister in law bought her house about a year ago. She had to reno the kitchen and thats what she did. The top cabinets are white and the bottoms are a real pretty navy color...but the subway tile goes all the way to ceiling amd it is gorgeous!! ❤
Hey Tiffany, I also have a double wide for 17 yrs and boy I didn't think my wall were so dirty but boy am I finding walls I have no idea how they got that way, since we are all adults now. But I guess when your house is lived in dirty walls are the least thing you think about, need to get a bucket of hot water and a towel ready this weekend. God bless and thanks for the tour.
What a beautiful home! I remember when you were so stressed during the buying process so I was so happy when you finally got your home! Sorry about the frustrating issues, I saw that a lot of people who use that company have the same issues unfortunately. But I think it's nice to still have a place of your own that you love!
Just got moved into our home. Looks similar to yours in front living ares. Wr love it. Starting our 3 acre home stead when all the rain stops. I love the way u set ur home up. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for showing your home. We purchased our home 14 years ago and I love it as much now as I did then. Your home is beautiful and lived in. So refreshing! I vote do a backsplash under your vent hood down. Make it stand out and it’s own. Just sayin’. Love watching you and your family work so hard on your home and homestead. Be blessed!
Your home is beautiful, cosy, warm and inviting. I hope you get the long standing issues rectified, battling with builder's is no joke. In the short length of time you've been there, you have achieved so much. But I think the most important thing is your home is filled with love. Have a wonderful weekend 💞
I’ve been inspired to purchase a mobile home for quite some time now. Pretty much the same floor plan and I have come up with so many ideas that I want to add to the home to dress it up over time. I think once I get my home set up I think it’s gonna be amazing just like yours.
I love living in our doublewide ❤ I'd rather this than a stick home. So expensive and in my opinion not near as nice as a nice manufactured home. You really should go for it and get yours. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I just found your channel. Adorable home. For the back splash behind the stove I would tile the entire wall, if you just tiled behind the stove it would look like the wall was unfinished. I believe you would love the look of the entire wall being tiled. Good Luck with what ever your decide.
Thank you for sharing! Beautiful home! Sweet children 🥰. My husband and I recently bought a fixer upper. It’s so frustrating when things are not working and it takes so long to get everything the way you want it. I just need patience, energy, good health, and a little more money to get it all done. Best wishes! God bless. ❤
Hi 👋 you tube reccomended your channel...and im so hapoy it did! Thank you for showing a real authentic home not just ytube perfect. Your home is gorgeous! I had no idea a double wide was soooo spacious! Its larger than my house here in England! 🇬🇧 😊
Even with the problems I Absolutely LOVE YOUR HOME!!!❤❤ Just subscribed to your channel! You guys definitely made theright decision! I would tile the wall behind the stove up to the range hood and put white bead board on the rest and coat the beadboard with a couple of coats of polycrylic so you can wash it down when necessary!
Quick question. Will the polyacrylic turn yellow after a time? I'm thinking of putting beadboard panels for my backsplash but didn't know if the polyacrylic would durn a dingy yellow after a while.
You are a lovely lady and your home is fine. Enjoy your life with your husband and children. Best wishes. We all have problems with our homes; new or old. See you soon.
Your home is almost just like ours. We have a Hamilton Tuscany and we love it!! We have 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths also. It is the home I always wanted!! Thanks for Sharing and God Bless You!!
Love seeing how you’ve made your house a home! Y’all have done so much! And I do love your kitchen!!! So many ideas for backsplash. Have you seen the brick paneling to look like German smear?
I actually like this home! Honestly I can’t hate on this! Everything looks so cosy and warm like old and new combined! It’s a standard home on the outside but very cottagecore on the inside! I love that kitchen😍that island is massive😮imagine the many home cooked dinners and holiday gatherings around that island☺️this home tour warms my♥️thanks for sharing this video!
I’m new here, got excited seeing mobile home living lol. Anyway love the way you decorated your space! So pretty. I’m very inspired as I’m soon to be in my first home which is a mobile home.
Hi, you asked for suggestions for the backslash. A white herringbone would look beautiful with small insert glass jade or any other color between the white tiles put sparingly throughout the whole wall. It's best to do the whole wall since there are 2 windows and will not be overpowering.
Y'all have a beautiful home Tiffany you and Justin and i know you guys worked hard to get it the way you wanted ....ty for tht tour !!! Love y'all and hugs ❤️🤗...
Your home beautiful! May I ask what color is on the walls in your bedroom? I really like it! You have a beautiful family also. It is such a blessing to have an older daughter that is more than willing to help with a little one. My daughter was actually sad that her baby brother didn't need to share her room. They are still very close and they are 36 and 26. Your home was lived in. Its not a mess, but simply lived in. You could always hand your little shower cutie a washcloth and ask him to wipe the low spots. I think I used more baby wipes doing that with my little ones than I ever used on them.
Such a pleasant real life tour. So nice, light and airy, beautiful color choices and decorating. Happy family. I too enjoy country living. Stick built homes have issues to.
Stainless steel backsplash plate, $59 @ Lowe’s. I put one up 4 years ago ‘until I could decide on tile’. Love it, so easy to clean. Quick fix to get this off of your to do list.
Love your home ❤ For the backsplash you could try a peel and stick tile to see if you will like it all over the wall before you commit to fully tiling it 😊 I think Dollar Tree even has some cheaper peel and stick that look pretty cute just to test it out
Your double looks better than my new construction! Seriously gorgeous kitchen! We have to completely redo our builder kitchen to get this! Love It ❤ For a “backsplash” in our first home we used peel and stick wall paper and we loved it! Plus we could change it out if we decided to try something new. That’s flexibility you don’t get with tile backsplash. Honestly, this double wide is nicer than many “regular”…just didn’t know what to call them. It’s very nice! And it’s on a nice piece of property! The lot size is amazing!!! I painted our walls white because we don’t have a lot of windows but they do get dirty. Have to touch paint every 2-3 months lol 😂 Our bedroom is like a catch all room but trying to currently change that. Maybe we can do makeovers together!!! 😂❤ Just subbed to your channel!
Good afternoon Tiff. I think if I were you that in the kitchen behind the stove, I would put a backsplash all the way to the top and up against the trim pieces on near the windows. I think it would look amazing!! Y'all have done a great job, it is a beautiful home.
In 2019 my husband and I bought a 2500 square foot double-wide mobile home and we had the same electrical problem in our Den we did not have any Electric it took me six months of fussing constantly calling to get them to fix it and we also had problems with our Windows leaking and our front door within a year they had everything fixed but it took a lot to get them to do it you really just need to stay on them we sold it in 2021 and bought a brick home but at the time when covid first hit our trailer being so huge and it was in very good shape very nice we actually made a very nice profit which I was so glad cuz you know trailers due depreciate in value used to I don't know so much now because they're making them more and more like an actual house and I didn't think I would miss it but I really truly miss my mobile home it was big and it was beautiful and it was The Farmhouse and it was extremely nice and I really do miss it I love the brick home that I'm living in it's bill in 1991 it's a super nice we remodeled it and put all new hardwood floors butcher block countertops that have solid wood cabinets but it is not as big as my mobile home was I miss that very much if I could find some land I would buy me another mobile home and just rent my house out there's just no property around here I love my mobile home
♥️ I LOVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY HOME……… IT MADE ME FEEL SO PEACEFUL ………I LOVE YOUR YARD……… YOUR WILD FLOWERS……CHICKENS… SCREAM COUNTRY……YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY ……… BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL…… ♥️☦️
I too have 5 kids and first off, your kids are absolutely ADORABLE. And I too, like you, do NOT like the "open concept." As they age, think you'll like the "open concept" even less, lol. But for now, think your house is perfect. (Btw, we live in a sticks and bricks and only had 3 bedrooms all these years - 3 boys in one bedroom and 2 girls in the other and they all shared one bathroom, no problem.)
Somebody likes shopping at Hobby Lobby! Lol. Wow, 5 kids....you are a brave soul and one of the very few who will help keep the himan race alive. Ty fir the tour
I used vinyl contact paper, easy to clean and it's been up for years and no-one knows, I have to tell them. I would do from inside each window, down and up all the to the ceiling! you can pic what you like. . Cheap, easy and easy to wipe clean......and chase out when you get sick of it!
Peel and stick removable wall paper much easier to work with than contact paper! They sell it everywhere now, even Walmart. I put the shiplap pattern from Target in my camper, and it looks really nice! Easy to clean, and remove without damaging the walls.
Beautiful home 💝 Thank you for showing us around 💝 We've been in our new house just 1 yr now and still are trying to figure things out lol and where to put things and how to organize and decorate. The builders didn't finish some things and it's just gonna be like that. So we've had to make do as well :/ lol Right now just trying to sort through things and downsize some things. The girls toys are in our living room as well. It a very open concept when you walk in to. Our last house was not open concept like this. I'm not great at looking at all the stuff lol I'm like I need a cabinet to put stuff in and close the doors lol
Love your wall color. I would tile the entire wall or maybe a tin backsplash but you might want to limit that to just the section between the windows under the vent hood but you’ll need to hang like black curtain rods over the windows with maybe a little black & white check fabric valance, very basic because the tin can be a lot. The kids photos look great.
I love your home and yes use tile only as wide as your range and go up to where the hood stops under neath, I did mine and love it. I have open ranch style single wide 16 by 80 3 bedroom 2 bathroom and we have a small island and a breakfast bar with stools our children are all adults but it is an amazing home fleetwood 30 years ago
I take interior design classes. If you do tile behind your stove do it all the way to the ceiling. Since tile is more permanent... if you can live with the color of the walls try to find a tile close to that color. Or, paint the walls the color of your tile if you are going with a different color.
Wow i have to say i watch a few homestead channels and at times they really frustrate me as they try to make everything look so immaculate and pristine and wonderful & all the property they keep extending blar blar, they done show a sustainable realistic home and toys, washing up,just basically realistic living.. Well done you,the first chanel ive found thats true to life and as real as it comes! Relatable & real.. You seem a really lovely family and i shall be following along on your journey, live your house and all the quirky area's with chickens and patios. Just so lovely.
Thank you so much for encouraging me!! It's always been, and always will be, my intention to show my real life. I feel like people need content they can relate to and I want to be that for my people. ❤️ Thank you for being here!

I grew up in a small town of 180 people in central Nebraska. It was a great place to live and kids could run free, as everyone knew everyone! Our family finally left when I was 16 due to my father's new job in Omaha, NE. I now live in Murfreesboro, TN. I love TN, but would much rather be in a small town. Nashville and Murfreesboro have doubles in size since we moved here 26 years ago. I would love nothing better than to get back to a small town. Home is where the love is, no matter what building you live in. The first house I remember was an older home moved in from a farm! Does that make it a "mobile" home????

Thank you for showing your home. We purchased our home 14 years ago and I love it as much now as I did then. Your home is beautiful and lived in. So refreshing!
I vote do a backsplash under your vent hood down. Make it stand out and it’s own. Just sayin’. Love watching you and your family work so hard on your home and homestead.
Be blessed!
So beautiful !!! I would love to live a life like this
I love the open floor plan... It's beautiful ❤
Your home is beautiful, cosy, warm and inviting. I hope you get the long standing issues rectified, battling with builder's is no joke. In the short length of time you've been there, you have achieved so much. But I think the most important thing is your home is filled with love. Have a wonderful weekend 💞
Thank you so much! ❤️
I don't think you'll be disappointed.
my dad lives in a manufactured home and it’s honestly the best. i love it so much!
God bless. ❤
You have made your home so beautiful! And I love that it feels so comfortable too!!
Hi 👋 you tube reccomended your channel...and im so hapoy it did!
Thank you for showing a real authentic home not just ytube perfect. Your home is gorgeous! I had no idea a double wide was soooo spacious! Its larger than my house here in England! 🇬🇧 😊
Welcome!! So happy to have you here!!
Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. You have worked so hard on your homestead.
Beautiful, cozy home! Such a sweet family!❤
You've got a very comfortable home it looks like a home full of love God bless and take care love you all
Look at your pantry! A step up from the bookshelf and curtain. 😉 Not that there is anything wrong with that. You have a beautiful home!!
Welcome!! So happy to have you here!!
Quick question. Will the polyacrylic turn yellow after a time? I'm thinking of putting beadboard panels for my backsplash but didn't know if the polyacrylic would durn a dingy yellow after a while.
Your home is lovely and I love the spacious rooms and the walk in pantry. 🥰
The whole wall would look beautiful tiled.
You are a lovely lady and your home is fine. Enjoy your life with your husband and children. Best wishes. We all have problems with our homes; new or old. See you soon.
Your home is beautiful. I'd do the entire oven wall a gorgeous white stone of some kind💛✨️
Great home! Peel and stick for behind the stove. Easy...🎉❤😅
Being from Long Island, I had No idea mobile homes could look like this!! Beautiful home and beautiful property
Thank you!
I like seeing toys and bikes in the yard! That is real life 😊
I actually like this home!
Thank you so much!
You have a beautiful home and a beautiful family
That glass door by the laundry room needs reinforcement. Just the times we are living in.
Thank you Tiffany ! Your home is beautiful! 🙌🥰🙌
I think you should make a backsplash just up to the hood; out in kitchen. Nice tour; very pretty ☺️😍 home 🏡🌺🌸
Y'all have a beautiful home Tiffany you and Justin and i know you guys worked hard to get it the way you wanted ....ty for tht tour !!! Love y'all and hugs ❤️🤗...
It’s a very beautiful home. I can see why you love it. Be blessed.
Awww 🥰 what a beautiful home, beautiful kids, beautiful life ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful home, thank you for sharing! Blessing to you and your family!
I would put contact paper on your backsplash. Cheap, keeps walls clean and easily changed.
You popped up.. and I’m happy you did. I love your home! Thanks for showing it
Stainless steel backsplash plate, $59 @ Lowe’s. I put one up 4 years ago ‘until I could decide on tile’. Love it, so easy to clean. Quick fix to get this off of your to do list.
Love your home ❤ For the backsplash you could try a peel and stick tile to see if you will like it all over the wall before you commit to fully tiling it 😊 I think Dollar Tree even has some cheaper peel and stick that look pretty cute just to test it out
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and family.
Your double looks better than my new construction! Seriously gorgeous kitchen! We have to completely redo our builder kitchen to get this! Love
It ❤
For a “backsplash” in our first home we used peel and stick wall paper and we loved it!
Have to touch paint every 2-3 months lol 😂
Our bedroom is like a catch all room but trying to currently change that. Maybe we can do makeovers together!!! 😂❤
Just subbed to your channel!
Thank you for subbing! I'm so happy to have you here! ❤️ Yes, these walls need a serious touch up especially in the hallway!
It’s designed well and pretty. Thank you!
Trailer parks have a stigma about them, but some of them are actually quite nice, clean, and spacious!
♥️ I LOVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY HOME……… IT MADE ME FEEL SO PEACEFUL ………I LOVE YOUR YARD……… YOUR WILD FLOWERS……CHICKENS… SCREAM COUNTRY……YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY ……… BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL…… ♥️☦️
I. lived in three mobile homes. Loved them.
There is some peel and stick type tile that you could get to try out for the backsplash before committing to something more permanent.
Somebody likes shopping at Hobby Lobby! Lol. Wow, 5 kids....you are a brave soul and one of the very few who will help keep the himan race alive. Ty fir the tour
You and Justin have a beautiful home and homestead. I would do peel n' stick backsplash all the way up behind the stove. In a lite gray color.
I used vinyl contact paper, easy to clean and it's been up for years and no-one knows, I have to tell them. I would do from inside each window, down and up all the to the ceiling! you can pic what you like. . Cheap, easy and easy to wipe clean......and chase out when you get sick of it!
That's a great idea!
Peel and stick removable wall paper much easier to work with than contact paper! They sell it everywhere now, even Walmart. I put the shiplap pattern from Target in my camper, and it looks really nice! Easy to clean, and remove without damaging the walls.
Beautiful home 💝
Thank you for showing us around 💝
We've been in our new house just 1 yr now and still are trying to figure things out lol and where to put things and how to organize and decorate.
The builders didn't finish some things and it's just gonna be like that. So we've had to make do as well :/ lol
Right now just trying to sort through things and downsize some things.
You have a beautiful home and family you should be proud
Thank you ♥️
I love your home and yes use tile only as wide as your range and go up to where the hood stops under neath, I did mine and love it. I have open ranch style single wide 16 by 80 3 bedroom 2 bathroom and we have a small island and a breakfast bar with stools our children are all adults but it is an amazing home fleetwood 30 years ago
I just absolutely love your home and especially that big kitchen and island!
Thank you friend! ❤️
Hi Tiffany I love your beautiful Home and everything you did to make this beautiful You are a wonderful homemaker and Mother and Wife God bless you Sweetie much love Cathy🙏🏻✝️☮️🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️💚💜🌹💐🌺🍀💕
I love open floor plans. 😍
Beautiful home & family. May God continue to bless you and your family 🙌🥰✨
Your home is absolutely beautiful! I looooove it❤❤❤
I grew up in a small town of 180 people in central Nebraska.
Beautiful home
