Being born and brought up in Chhattisgarh, I have seen all this everywhere and still do. This Breaks my heart tbh. People here don't ask for much, they are very naive and kind especially the one from distant villages. But this really doesn't mean that their basic necessity can be neglected. I'm 21 and people of my parents age and older just don't care enough for them, it barely bothers them. They just happy to have innocent laborers and maids at cheap wages. Having said all this I must admit that Chhattisgarh is by far the most best place with the most lovely helpful people all around. People are not mean here to anyone for no reason, like other soo called much developed states. Its still close to nature and not been destroyed in name of "development". BUT none of the govts have ever done any major good here, its high time that they must provide people with basic needs.

But outsiders make fun of them and use them because people here are less educated and not educated and less aware about politics . Being naive and kind is the way to poverty and demolition . As local people here are naive police and govt and educated migrants take advantage of them as locals are not revolting and protesting against any injustice . I don't like such thinking of locals here .being nice and kind is one thing and being foolish is other .
People here are foolish as they are uneducated and less social and less into social media . People don't know about career opportunities and different exams . Most of the people are simply teachers ,nurses ,or low earning workers .
My mother is from kanker and her village is just 1 km inside kanker . In kanker mostly Jain ,sindhis ,agrawals and some outsider caste live but in village areas surrounding kanker only locals live . Kanker is a district . Now for last 10 years there is a big problem of bears roaming in kanker district and specially in my mother's village named as bhirawahi . When we ask about why population of bears are there ,wr hear that govt is bringing bears to reserve and make habitat for bears here because kanker is surrounded by many mountains . Even I have seen bears roaming from one lane to other passage or roads . They are so dangerous that they have killed or attached more than 100 villagers till now . People have stopped going for morning walks and only farmers walk beacuse they don't have choice . Farmers are attached . I had asked my uncles why don't they talk to sarpanch or ias but they are so much lazy that they don't want to do anything . That's why I don't like this habit of locals of chattisgarh .people don't like to fight or protest for any injustice . If this was in Bihar or south states or Punjab people would have given threats to administration either shift the bear or they would kill with katta ( unlicensed gun) .
That's why chattisgarhiya people are the most foolish people in India.

Coming from deserted region of West Rajasthan, Going to school without slippers, bringing water from Talab, well etc, Doing farming with family, going to banglore as a daily labourer during Diwali vacations, going to school where there were only 2 teachers was such a common and a normal sight for us. But I don't know why it never felt like we were poor, maybe everyone around us had the same life so we didn't have anyone to compare with. Now I work as a Vet in Delhi, living a stable life. When I think of my life 10 years back it seems completely unreal. Hope these people also witness this change which people of my village experienced. Jai shree Ram 🌻

Frankly speaking I do not stay in India, but I usually do donate money to multiple NGO hoping that it would make a difference. If by any means you could also put an estimated basic infrastructure cost and plan would be great for this villages. I would say there are many friends of mine interested in this cause. We should not rely solely on goverment if we can we should also take the baton and help. That's my understanding. If there is something let me know. Next time I visit India, would surely visit one of these kind of villate and try to make difference. Thanks again for doing this!

you will donate out of your good will that genuinely makes you a great person but what about the fact that those fascist hungry for power politicians who visit them every elections giving them fake promises and then vanish. it is their duty and that is what they take salaries and what not perks for.

no ngo no donation no charity can do anything rather scratching the surface. The issue is the govt. and its wealth distribution policy for the nation. the problem is too big to be addressed by any entity with no accountability for that matter, except the state.

@@anushkajha9079I’m sure we can make up 1000 entities, charities, organisations, NGO’s whatever you want to call it with the 1 billion + people we have. This isn’t a question about holding gov servers to account (that’s a seperate conversation) this is about basic facilities reaching the remotest villages. I’m sure a 1000 such organisation can achieve this in 15-20yrs one village at a time
