We had a ford 6000 select-o-speed that leaked every possible fluid you put in it. We used it for cultivating and had to add a gallon of hydraulic oil by lunch. It sat high and I liked the flat deck so you didn’t have to straddle the transmission.
Done that to a 3020 , 4440, and a 4430 over the years. I am with you on the straight pipe. Do her up like the other tractors. I had one on a 4030 with the hard canopy and it wasn't too loud. Give it a try...
4230 first and only brand new tractor I bought in 1975. Planted with it until about 95. Was good to me the only thing I didn’t like about it was start hard when it was 50 degrees or cooler.
POWER WASHER ROBERT😂😂. LOVE THE JET ENGINE HEATER BET IT WARMS UP A PLACE UP FAST!! Had a 200 AC that had the hyd pump on the side of block could have it of about the time you took off muffler and hood!!😢 😢😢. Thanks Guys

Ours used to be hard to start until we rebuilt the injection pump.

Your tractors are easier to work on than those that take a $150/h tech.
That fitting ain’t hard to get on the pump in the tractor if you jack the engine up a few inches…😂
