Oh, I loved loved loved this. Reminded me of being young and riding. I don’t do English, I ride western but jumping ditches and fences and carefree. Thank you so much! Glad you won.
Perhaps it’s because I ride western? And we coined it to differentiate the styles? I don’t know. 🤷🏻♀️ I grew up with everyone I know calling it that LOL Do you just call it riding? Do you have a special name for western riding style I do? Like call it western, just curious.
@@TheRebeLLynn not really, the odd person says western but it really isn't very popular here, we would tend to differentiate more of a show jumping type of riding versus race riding rather than calling it all one style
oh my gosh..i use to ride horse but long story why i had to stop..but this..this is so awesome..i feel like I am there and I am loving every minute of it..thank you..thank you.
It threw me for a moment. Was riding steady away keeping an eye on the loose runner on approach to the jump one second and the next - horse is to our side and acquired a rider mid air. Felt like a real life random re-spawn.
For those who are talking about the horse with no rider just carrying on,you probably already know this but it is because they are herd animals and he just wanted to be with the “herd” 🐎🐎🐎
Your right it is not abuse well this guy is not abusing he dose not whip is horse every second and dose not force the horse great example of good riding
I totally agree @Brooke and @Simply Sunflower. I too felt I was riding the race. The only jump I didn’t quite get the striding correct was going up and off the bank lol. It was lovely to hear the jockey’s encouraging ‘clicks’ and yes it did appear that the hands stayed firmly on the reins, so no whipping just a lovely hands and feet drive to the line.
I rode race horses plenty times but this steeple chase racing would have me very nervous , it’s a whole other level , beautiful ride there guys , awesome video. Loved it.👍
That is such a deceptively tricky one I'd probably worry about most. Looks a simple enough jump up onto a mound but the dip down immediately after means the slightest misjudgement or horse missing his footing and you're a goner.
Is the camera really that steady? Riders skill. I see the other riders keeping their stability in contrast to the horizon, except the poor sole who feel off.
Great example of great riding you do not whip your horse all the time and you do not force your horse and your horse has he/she ears forward the WHOLE time some jockeys do abuse horse while ridding but this is a good example of racing with no horse abuse.
it is only jumped once a year in the Grand Steeplechase. This is a different race at that track, probably at the same meeting. Good though - gives you a fair idea - I'd get lost. :)
ik I do show jumping and dressage I quit racing for a reason i figured out the abuse I own.4horses a fressian, saddlebred, thuroughbred, and a hoveranian I’m gonna get a new horse an Australian thuroughbred I can’t wait!

The horse without a jockey was like “I’LL WIN THIS RACE FOR US! DONT WORRY!” 😂😂😂
@Zachariah Waylon if you don't trust hur don't be with her beta
😅🤣
At races when the rider fall’s off they get eliminated

what is english?
@@anthonyberry1314 the type of horse riding they are doing in the video.

That looks like it's so much fun! What magnificent animals they are
3:54 that transition/editing was beautiful.

Disagree, looks to me like some of the race was skipped. Ground is different / changes beyond the jump / edit. Very strange.
@@jenniferk5303I wondered if it was because that loose horse fell badly or something but the next fence he is gone, and why else would they skip it

So horse can form herd with strenger horeses?
Those horses are good horses.
Just so you know it’s harder than you think to win like that
Wow! This jockey is awesome and very clever! Let this jockey be an example for all those people who say horse racing is abuse.

Horse racing is abuse quite a lot but not always!:)
I'm just amazed how they remember where to go
Pretty sure steeplechase is a elliptical track, meaning its not like cross country which turns every which direction
@@IDK-ux7ct yep
I feel so bad for the guy that fell off his horse

This is AWESOME! Great work!
Omg..I don't know how I get here...but it worth it!!
Whot great footage
Awesome - Amazing animal.....incredible stamina.
Good horse always listening to the rider the whole race.
The rider was good to him, too, clicking instead of whipping, and then patting him when they won. Good partnership.
You should show this to people who say that the horses don't want to race and that they hate it... 😂😂
Honestly they gave the rein over the jump so that’s a +
Yes, he knows what he is doing lol.
2:27 that got to be terrifying
It is, also because someone fell off their horse

Oh yea
Oh my goodness 😮 amazing!! 🎉
Incredible to watch.
That was so amazing!

wow unbelievably exhilarating!
Hats off to Marcus Armitage for at tempting this in the past, plowed fields, in and outs, and a hickstead bank.

There's definitely some sort of stabilizer on it. Other gopro videos on racehorses aren't this smooth.
Perhaps a mini Gimbal or something similar.
Come to Cheltenham and try the Cross country course.
Is it just me or does it sound like the horse is eating celery or a carrot mid race?
What happens if the horse refuses?😊

Is the Taxis no longer a fence?
It is, it just isn't included in the side races because of it's difficulty. The Taxis is included in the main race (Velká Pardubická).
Thank you - I didn't realise this wasn't the full race.

it may seem funny but that would’ve hurt like helllll

You’re a professional steeplechase jockey are you now?
Mm stfu
Maan do u even know where this track is lmao
Oh emm their name is Luna? What about the race name ????? SUURREEE you rode him SURE
Of course the dude fell off-
Your horse looks kinda sweaty-
I hate this, horses die from this
That one horse literally ran without its jockey… I think it enjoys it.

I thought the Pardubica Steeplechase is forbidden since years, cause so much horses died ???
