Iknow its sad and especially cause Longannet is our last coal Fired Power station it should have been kept as a strategic reserve or make it an industrial museum.
Should never have demolished the place ... we’ll need it again and idiots in charge will be like oh ! That was a mistake . They’re burning timber in power stations now for power but what do they think coal was . To all who built and worked there well done 👍🏻
I remember watching it being built. Structures like this epitomised the optimism of the 1960s. Great footage. Thanks.
