    You are 100% correct about gas prices and shipping. I work in the logistics department of an e-scooter/e-bike company and today we pay nearly double what we used to pay four years ago to bring our product to port, warehouse, and local sellers. When you buy an e-bike just know that $400 of that price you pay was the shipping cost of getting it from China to you in a system where every mile of that 10,000+ mile trip that bike crossed was powered by diesel.

    • @AmaTXLori
      @AmaTXLori ปีที่แล้ว

      Does it cost more than that $400 to source and manufacture in the USA? If so, how much more? I would rather hear it cost that much being a USA product…sourced, manufactured, and sold.

    • @drakelong5851
      @drakelong5851 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AmaTXLori Unless you are a billionaire who sinks 100+ million into creating everything from the factories to retail you cannot have larger products made in America. China approaches manufacturing differently than America. Their government subsidizes building large factories that are versatile and able to make dozens, if not hundreds, of different products. In the US factories are typically built and owned by individual companies and they will not build products for others. So, middle class Americans find themselves pitching their ideas to insanely wealthy companies or people who won't help you unless you give them partial or complete ownership of your company, patent rights to your designs, and so on. On the other hand, China is glad to build whatever you want them to and all they ask is you pay them for the product they made. They don't try to own and control you like the wealthy American companies do.

    • @AmaTXLori
      @AmaTXLori ปีที่แล้ว

      @@drakelong5851 great point. Another thought to add into questions for people running for office. We need factories that can produce so much for our country to regain any semblance to being independent in all facets.

    Not just the fuel I have worked in the trucking industry for years. Now I deal with the parts aspect and fuel is 1 factor. Maintenance as well. Shop hourly rate has gone up because of energy rate has gone up and shop tools cost more. The parts for these trucks have doubles or tripled ranging from the last few years to last few months. That overall cost for the trucker now goes into the cost of the product. Not to mention the cost of producing the product overall.

    Interesting note that I'm guessing you already know, but I just learned recently and some people here in the comments might not know. Dax was born and raised in Canada not the USA. That's the reason he features the Canadian Flag in several of his videos. He also represents Nigeria in several songs and on his social media because his parents are from there but immigrated to Canada before Dax was born.

I remember when gasoline was $5.00 a gallon in South Carolina and diesel was $1.50 in the 90’s. Then auto manufacturers started making diesel versions of their cars and guess what happened!?!?

    • @TormentedVet_Reactions
      @TormentedVet_Reactions  ปีที่แล้ว

      Average price for gas in 2005 was $2.30 Peeked in 2008 at $3.27 and fluctuated between $2 and $3 and some change until 2021 where the national average jumped nearly a whole dollar over what it was in 2020. While Katrina did have a small effect on fuel prices, that effect was nothing compared to what the current administration did.

    Dax is speaking the 100% truth in his songs now, it’s not just rapping or being just a comedian. He’s not worried about people’s opinions to his common sense. He’s one of the few rapping the truth. His songs are giving me cold chills. He is the real deal. The whole system needs to change but the greedy rich people will never allow that to happen. Our current leader has definitely ruined us where one president can’t make positive changes and fix the damage. This world has went to hell in a hand basket. You are at the point of saying that if a person can say a positive thing about Biden to post it. Ok hear we go. This will definitely be telling of who I pulled for. 1) My chiropractor is getting more money resetting my neck from shaking it at the stupidness of our leadership. Positive cause my chiropractor is making more money off my stress. 2) I have had some gut busting laughs off the puppet’s left field or making no sense comments 3) I’m now regulated to thanking someone just for being nice to me in a drive through or cashier if they speak at all, so a nice woman has had to learn to have more patience to these young kids that get confused easily if you give them bills and some change so you can get just dollars back. Had one in McDonald’s drive through accuse me of trying to steal from them when I told him what he owed me cause he hit just the dollar button. It was him calling his manager, another young one, that I could not explain anything too as well. I was all ready to the point of yanking the young punk through the window. But I kept my cool when my temper was building. So I’m becoming a nicer person having to deal with the ones that somehow got a diploma but can’t do math or read something I wrote in cursive. Thanks common core. 4) My son seeing at school all these people being “helped” by all this free money to stay at home instead of work, now thinks he doesn’t have to get a job and go to work. We can make money appear off of my husband’s SSDI check than what he draws from his strokes(he’s only 52). And my son gets whatever he wants. Constant fight there. So I get to say thank you to the government for putting it into my mentally challenged son, that you can get money for free. You don’t have to work hard everyday of your life to just get by. So in all, I’m exceedingly nicer than I ever had to be. I don’t draw anything for being a caregiver 24/7 but the government will pay a stranger to work here. I’ve taken care of and been my son’s only advocate until he was stable. At the time I was healing from an accident but told I could go back to work at least part time since my son could be trusted to be at home for a few hours alone. By time I could, my husband had multiple sets of cerebellar strokes (rare). With gas going up, groceries so high, thanks to a certain leader, I can’t afford to buy my son a cheap car or pay at least once for his insurance until he can. My vehicle is 22 years old and literally gorilla taped together. So except laughing so I don’t start crying, that’s the only good our leader has done. Thanks for your good honest reviews. I enjoy them!

    Very true on the fuel costs however the Diesel itself is not that expensive. I think the wholesale diesel cost is about 1.75 per gallon. The majority of the rest is taxes. Saying presidents have no impact is dishonest. A president can't impact the global fuel wholesale price but they can influence greatly the price we pay at the pump.

  • @chorleycc
    @chorleycc ปีที่แล้ว +3

    It's time to fight back brother. In the UK the London Left wing Mayor has just introduced a new tax on cars driving in and around London. It was opposed by 90% of the public but they went ahead anyway. They claim in will help air pollution. It now means if you have a older car you have to pay $15 everyday you drive within 30 miles of London. Ultimately is you live within a 30 miles radius of London at you want to use a pre 2015 diesel car its $15 every day (almost $100 per week). Who has older cars? less wealthy working class people. It's yet another tax on the poor and working class. It's an absolute scam. Charging people to go visit their parents, friends, get to work etc. Here is the good new. In order to enforce the law and track all vehicles etc around 1200 camera were installed around London. In the news today is that 87% of the camera have been removed / damaged by "The blade runners", a vigilantly group fighting for the public. If you wanted to look into it just searth London ULEZ Blade Runners. Cheers.

    I have to slightly disagree on one point, things are expensive because there are current and worsening, manufactured shortages. Oil is expensive due to policies blocking drilling and production. Meds are short because of again manufactured bad relations, and manufactured wars, and unrest, and violence around the globe. Same goes for food, but additionally the food processing plants, and farms, are being attacked physically and through regulations. Again purposeful by all governments. We have also decade by decade went from an agricultural economy, to an industrial economy to a service and technology based economy. We do not farm enough, nor do we make anything anymore here. Each nation has been set up with intent to collapse all at the same time. Because no nation is self sufficient. None. We all depend on other nations for 60% to 90% of our goods and foods, and fuels. Any idiot should be able to see that it is on purpose. Why? To cause chaos, and starvation, and to introduce a new global rule set, digital currency, and digital ID. Control..and they will accomplish it. Though not for very long. It is foretold. For those who wish to see, see, and who wish to hear, hear..for though the world is backwards now, and unbearable, it is only for a short while. Keep watching. Keep praying. Be faithful.
