I drove the Roma, and it really scoots! My Viper spins its wheels if you gas it too much.
And the engine/transmission twist together in the frame under power, so with the manual gearshift it's all too easy to miss third gear and bog down by going from 2nd to 5th! Although my Viper has 700 hp / 690 tq, it's very difficult to launch it from a dig.
In contrast, the Ferrari Roma is in another league entirely, with its dual-clutch transmission and traction control. The Ferrari allows a little wheel spin, but traction control does not completely step in like a safety nanny and "flat-line" the power output like some cars do. It adjusts and compensates for available traction in real time, allowing the maximum of it's 616 horsepower to be transmitted to the driving wheels at all times under heavy acceleration. The dual-clutch trans keeps the acceleration coming seamlessly thru the gears.
But what I really love about "her", is she's just beautiful!

Its my dream car but now its looks are not that attractive....
