The picture of the guy at the end was Jack Merrit. He and the lady pictured both worked in helping & rehabilitating prisoners even though they're white, upper class, highly educated etc. Jack actually helped Dave's brother & family when he got sentenced to 18 years but sadly Jack was murdered late last year in the London terrorist attack.
And saskia Jones. Both privately educated, both went to Cambridge uni

Just wanted to throw this in here on a 5 month old comment! It's almost like who you are, how you were raised and where you come from have no meaning to who you are and who you will become as a person. These two upper class (snobs), from well to do families (rich, probably white) were invested in helping people less fortunate than them. We can all give in to sterotypes but it is what you do that defines you.
Just cause your rich and white doesnt mean you're a racist or hate poor people. Just because you're rich and black doesn't mean you have a problem with white people. Same if you're poor and white you don't have to begrudge black people or immigrants, or is you're poor and black you dont have to hate white people / rich people.
We need to take each person we meet at their own merits. There are amazing people out there and there is shitty people out there. Both colours, both genders, all across the world. Jack Merritt worked with Dave's older brother who was jailed for a gang murder ,he was killed at London bridge by a convicted terrorist but spent his short life supporting people that took a wrong turn ,didn't give up on , Dave is something truly special.
Dave is a lyrical genius and an incredible conscious rapper!!! He makes 🔥 beats but his songs have so much depth too. His wordplay is incredible and you need to pay close attention to catch all his bars. I’ve subscribed to see more reactions to him. I’d recommend psycho, question time and streatham. Thank you🥰

Jack merrits a white guy from Britain that was stabbed to death by a terrorist at the London Bridge attacks , he was from Cambridge and had a great upbringing but he spent his later life fighting for prison reforms and trying to help black kids in the uk 🇬🇧 from just being recycled in the prison system , he was genuinely trying to find solutions to the problem , when he was killed Dave gave a massive amount of respect to him for what he was trying to do and saskia Jones the white girl also pictured was doing the same and she was killed too. Heart attack, panic attack are great Dave tracks too but tbh all of his stuffs great

Too many people of my generation (I'm 62) dismiss rap as an inferior genre. That's bullshit: here in the UK we have had socially aware rap talent like Dave, Akala, Lowkey and others whose work addresses real issues without fear. This stuff has far more substance than other music that gets far more mainstream recognition.
Like some of the other white commenters here, this makes me emotional every time I watch it. Happily, Dave gets some of the exposure he deserves. I just wish we had more artists like him: people who write truth about real life issues rather than bragging that cheap, cliche crap about bling and cars and how fucking rich they are.
Oh, and please mix the background beat of your videos a bit lower. I want to hear your reaction, not the backing track.
