      Thanks for that. Yes it’s a tiny bit of the acids and bases topic that could creep onto an exam and catch people out.

    Could the exam ask you about dibasic weak acids and then would the formula for ka be different?

    can i use ka = [H+]/pH for weak acids ? getting the [H+] from 10^-pH
