According to the website, the company is working on expansion packs for release later this year. They were responding to reviews that mentioned expansion packs.
wow, you can just feel how much love and thought went into this product. it's a niche plastic art supply that could've been cheaply and carelessly made and rushed through production, but they really sat down and made sure this was the best a plastic pixel printmaking art system could be. I'll definitely have to get myself one, I've always wanted to get into printmaking!
@@hollyisburning it's weird, normally I like more "complex" art styles (not sure if that's the right word but it's almost bedtime here so I can't think of another one 😂) but for some reason I love the simplicity and almost "childlike" style to her art. It just makes my heart happy 😊
Hullo Kasey, I have to agree with your other commenter who said this is so YOU! I hope you consider contacting this company for creating their next product line Or even their expansion packs? I had a printmaking class in college and I disliked the oil based inks in the extreme! I was so excited when water based inks were made! I used acrylic paint in college and the instructor down graded my projects because of my choices. You might try an ink dauber to apply the ink for future prints! Easier to apply and cheaper in the long run. Illuminated script is a long time avocation practiced by monks! I believe that you have created some wonderful pieces and I look forward to seeing more of your printmaking artwork! Really a wonderful video Kasey!
I hope you continue having fun with these for years. We're having a good time because you are, especially when things click into place and when you easily remove the pieces. Very artistically satisfying.
I don’t need another hobbie, I don’t need another hobbie 😭 THIS IS AMAZINGG, I’ve been obsessed with Lego printing and got myself some Lego dots… BUT THIS IS BETTER
I think the alphabet looks nice as a set, even tho the letters by themselve look a bit lackluster. I watched the newest video before this one and I really enjoy the printmaking, would love to see more!
lol, ask your granny. She probs has similar tips about cross stitch. I used to do pixel art as a kid a lot in 2000's. And My mom's cross stitch patterns really helped me out in thinking about patterns in pixels! If your want more designs for pixel art, explore cross stitich.
Ahhhhh, I LOVED this!! My daughter watched it with me and she said "that's not bad art!" See? You're too hard on yourself. We loved this. Maybe I can buy this prixel set sometime. It looks so fun. My fav was the croc angler guy. Love that guy.
Really cute set, and your designs were great! For ink refills, places like Walmart, office supply stores, or Amazon should have them. Just look for them were the stamping supplies are.
i think something really fun would be incorporating printmaking into other non-print artworks!! like, the first idea that comes to mind, a grassy field with printed flowers and bees and bugs and stuff!!! anyway, great video, i really enjoyed!
Hi Kasey, I think the light doodad on an angler fish is called a lure. I really liked the little vampire guy on one of the example pages. Perhaps when you get a bit more familiar with the Prixel, you coul create a range of characters in your style like that one? They remind me a bit of the characters in the Duolingo app! I'd love to see you recreate the Duolingo characters in your style too!
I love how these turned out and I really wanna try this too now! Also did you know you can create gradients when you use ink pads to print? Just tap one colour on half, the other colour on the other half, and overlap a little where they meet :)
Personally, I loved the ants also. Thank you for increasing tools that I now feel that I need to buy 😂😂😂. Great video. I am looking forward to seeing you use these more. ❤
I honestly don't like being a downer, but it's so depressing that they charge so much for this. I get they are a low volume product, but it's ridiculous that a few bits of plastic are this price. At the very least it should be twice the pieces but I'd prefer even more. Making art fun for kids only applies to the rich ones it seems.
When your biggest complaint with a product is "I wish there was more of this", I'd say that's a pretty glowing review.

My God. She's gone mad with power. No one can stop her.
They all turned out great. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself, I think those letter prints turned out amazingly.
The NO FEAR one goes so hard, it would be an amazing shirt print!!
unironicaly i love the "this is only a test" print
Me too! That and the angler fish are my favourite ones, though they are all pretty cute
@@Littlewings1211 im kinda obsessed by these lego/prixel prints, specifically from Kasey!

THANK YOU KASEY!! My boyfriend got me this for my birthday and I am having so much fun, all thanks to you! 🤓❤️
Oh wow, the flamingo made with legos at 0:25, so nice!
ITS SO FUN SEEING YOU EXPERIMENT WITH THESE AND THE LEGOS! It Just Seems Like A Very You Kind Of Printmaking!

The pixel style works very well with your art! I hope you keep experimenting with this style!

I actually love the letter prints! Excited to see how this idea develops
Distress ink by tim holtz, as a solid range of ink pads for card making. Some with effects when you spritz water en them.
The semester I take digital printmaking class Kasey discovers printmaking
I love it when you get a new obsession, your channel is just a big archive of all your ar eras :3
I think the alphabet looks nice as a set, even tho the letters by themselve look a bit lackluster. I watched the newest video before this one and I really enjoy the printmaking, would love to see more!
You know, this sort of style kinda reminds me of some sort of high resolution textmode, it looks really cool!
I love the light idea for anglers 😊 but I can understand it might be overwhelming 😊
2:48 4 over 3 down 😬 that pattern definitely should’ve been looked over before being put in the book
yeah i noticed that too, dunno how nobody noticed that in development LOL
Probably because most people focus on the green rather than the negative space, but yeeeeaahhhh....yikes!! 😂
Who comes up with these ideas, this looks like the coolest supply!!?? 😮

I think I like this better than the legos because you get lines as well. The clean up, removal and printing are amazing!

Oh my gosh this is amazing! Love seeing you experiment with illustrating in this style. You've got me pretty much 100% convinced to buy my own set 🤔😍
oh this is such a cool product! really loved the no fear piece

You can always use a fineliner to draw details!
You should definitely try the printmaking thing where you carve pink erasers to my tiny stamps
Wow. What fun. I will be checking into. thank you !!!!

The cat might've been in heat btw, if they seem extra affectionate and scratch out of nowhere.
These are so cool!!!
yaay i was in the stream where you unboxed this !!
sorry i lied about not being real. i am in fact real
I feel like someone needs to tell you about the Lego brick separator 630.
that iis a great little kit, NEED to find it or I guess I could print something similar with the 3D printer
(oooh have a great idea now!)
Lining up your print layers is called registration I believe.
Sick Prix!
Honestly, I saw this obsession coming a mile away 😂😂😂
Very cool! Was the yellow square a coincidence or your contribution to the madness of the yellow cube?
Kasey! You should check the art comunity of cartd making for some tips on versamark ink. They really know their ink
Hello I like your videos.
i miss the LETS GO seriesssss 😔
Will you sell any of the originals? I would pay good ass money for the squid 🦑
Love it but it’s really expensive.
Its 😍
cool tho
