    Thanks for making this video! I was wondering what the bathroom situation was like in Watterson? Like how many people share per floor? How many showers, toilets, etc?

    Also I have a couple video ideas!!!!!
    1. How’s Bloomington the town? Is it dry? There’s a lotta things to do?
    2. I’m planning on bringing my car because my commute to work from ISU is about 40 minutes, so what parking permit do you suggest?
    3. Is ISU Ghetto? 😂is it diverse? Is the parties lit?
    4. How’s the sports games?
    5. How was your freshman year overall? How’s the classes?
    I appreciate for helping us get a better understanding!

    • @nanaf3589
      @nanaf3589  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      gabe 1- the town itself isn’t particularly interesting, they have the necessity like Walmart and other restaurants. Besides that I don’t know that much about the town as a whole. 2- I’m not bringing my car so I’m not sure which parking pass is the best (sorry). 3- lol ISU is pretty diverse they have a lot of different clubs so u can find people with the same interest as you. You see all different races on campus. The parties are lit, people basically party 3 nights a week. 4- I didn’t go to any sports games last year but I heard that they are fun 5- freshman year was a lot of fun people at ISU are really nice and the classes aren’t hard to grasp, plus there is free tutoring for basically every class so it’s not hard to get help.

      BloNo has the most restaurants per capita in the country, so there’s a ton of really cool/delicious places to try!!

    • @mariefigueroa2364
      @mariefigueroa2364 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Uptown is pretty decent! As for parking, it depends where you’re living, if you’re in watterson there’s one very close! If you’re gonna be by Tri I would say get the parking lot by the Student Bone Center! you can also look this all up online! Just put in “ilstu parking” and play around w the website until you find the different parking garages they offer and a map of where they’re located! ISU is somewhat diverse, but compared to my highschool (40% Hispanic, 30% Black, 20% White, 10% mix) they are not as diverse as I thought they would be.

    Do you know if if is easy to get a single dorm? I applied but I’m hearing nothing. Or could I get a single suite with a random roommate ?

    THANK YOU! I’ve spent like half of my day just trying to figure out all of the room types and all the differences between all of them. Some people gave some information but not a lot and not nearly as detailed. Currently ISU is the most promising school for me, but I change my mind constantly. But it’s really nice to get perspective. Also I have a couple questions if you don’t mind answering to the best of your abilities. #1 Is Hewitt and Manchester more in the middle between the quad and the football field or is it closer to one more than the other? #2 Do all of the building allow you to use the stairs? Like for non emergency reasons? I don’t particularly like elevators, I use them if I really have to but I prefer not to. Sorry these probably sound like stupid questions but you are the most relatable person I’ve seen when going over these things.

    • @nanaf3589
      @nanaf3589  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Lucia Zuzu no these are good questions, 1- Hewitt and Manchester is next to Watterson making it closer to the quad (it’s actually furthest from the football field) 2- yes all the buildings have regular access to the stairs

    is it only themed living in Hewett/Manchester?? Or can you live there on a non themed floor?
    Also, what is the likelihood of two freshmen getting a deluxe double if we sign contracts early and stuff like that? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO

    • @nanaf3589
      @nanaf3589  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They have non themed floors In Hewitt and Manchester. And I’m not sure about the deluxe double but if you sign early that would definitely increase your chances

    In watterson, are the showers and toilets in one stall if that makes sense? Is it literally just a shower and a curtain or is it a stall with a separate area to put your stuff and everything?

    • @nanaf3589
      @nanaf3589  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are in the same room but there is a wall separating the showers stalls from the toilet stalls. In the section with the showers are stalls separating each shower and an additional curtain in the stall. Each shower stall has hooks to put ur shower caddy on and some have shelves as well. There is also another curtain on the outside of each stall so you have additional privacy when you get out of the shower. Hope this helps :)

    can you please explain to me what a deluxe double is at isu:) is it bigger than the regular double? sorry for the questions!!

    • @juanaperez8330
      @juanaperez8330 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The double deluxe was the quads. So in the quads there were four beds. Since it’s deluxe it’s only two beds. There’s more space compared to the regular doubles but to me it isn’t worth it because it’s almost priced like a single which I don’t like because I think it’s only $200 less than a single. Might as well get a single. But that’s the difference.

    Did you live on a Watterson floor without elevators? If you did, how was move-in day and how was it using the stairs in general on a daily basis?

    • @nanaf3589
      @nanaf3589  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did live on the 4th floor my freshman year and the only time it was a hassle was moving in and out but besides that using the stairs wasn’t bad

    How would you go about requesting to live on campus as a junior transfer student?

    • @nanaf3589
      @nanaf3589  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can’t live in the dorms past your sophomore year unless you are an RA. You would have to find an apartment on campus, but the closer to campus an apartment is the more expensive they are

  • @JD-lm7cf
    @JD-lm7cf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    hey this is super random but what are the dorm bathrooms like? I’m going to ISU next fall and I haven’t been able to find anything on what they look like

    • @nanaf3589
      @nanaf3589  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hewit and Manchester have more of a public pool layout bathroom, but the showers are in stalls. Wattersons’s layout is a little weird but there are 2 stalls and 2 showers. I haven’t been in a tri towers bathroom so I don’t know about that one.
