You do some nice work, Lil'brother. I picked up a tip or two from you. It's hard to believe you were only a couple months at it at this point. Your a natural tutor.
Oxana,Kelly Jones Heather boyd and Csl designs they're all brilliant. The way Heather boyd manipulates the wire like its nothing. These are my inspiration
I resonated with so much about what you shared about how you felt/thought during your process, and I just wanted you to know that this video really had some very good little tips and tricks. Things that I, as a definite beginner, have noticed having problems with(your idea of the pin to lift the wires to thread through! Thank you for that!). Your discomfort of working differently than you normally do(like without your magnifying light) is very much appreciated for doing this video! You did an awesome job, and I love the style of the stone! Thank you!
You are great at wire wrapping and I will be watching you. I started wire wrapping 6 months ago and I still have a hard time but you are great and please don't stop making videos friend
You did absolutely great. Congrats! Thank you. Beautifully unique. Yes, have so many tumbled and this is perfect. Yes, re: Kelly Jones. She's amazing. Looking forward to more tutes from you. You've got a gift for saying out loud what you're thinking, and why. Nice job.
You have a very pleasant voice for instruction. Which makes your voice easy to listen to while watching. This particular stone wrapping I liked. Thank you.
I absolutely loved the video. Great tips for newbie and wrapping lovers like me that put it down for quite a while. If it wasn't for my niece asking me to wrap a stone for her, I wouldn't have seen this, and I wouldn't have felt the desire to pick this up again. Thanks again.
I am new to this wire wrapping of stones. I think you did a great job showing what you are doing and also why. I especially like the way you use the pen to make space to get your anchoring wire under the thicker wire. Great job!
I need one of those wood block things. I can think of a lot of uses for it. Right now I'm trying to wrap a raw, tanzanite gemstone, irregular shaped, I got at a gem show recently. Your video is great, getting all sorts of inspiration from it.
Trying something new with this week's video. This is for those curious about my wire wrap process. This is a full length project from today with minimal editing, no sped up scenes. Let me know what you think!
Thank You very much, I'm having a hard time finding videos on stones that have different shapes, size and that's all I have right now, can't always have a perfect cabochon to work with. Hope you do more, I have been working on rings now I'll try pendants.
Thank you for a wire wrapping on an irregular tumbled stone . Video is great and love the idea of your third “hand” . Ohhhhh, the number of times irregular stones like the above have slipped and I had given up!!!!!! You show every step clearly.
Great video. Super helpful because I am not a big fan of cabs so I use all sorts of shapes I have mined and some I have tumbled. You have great hands and watch so they were a bit of a distraction 😊
I like all but the cut unsecured wires at the top. I think maybe they should be secured somehow. I do love the fact that you are using a tumbled odd shaped rock. Thanks for sharing.
This was *super* stellar, dude. I've been wrapping since last October and have yet to try a tumbled stone myself, but this really makes me feel more confident. Not only that, but your trick with the pin? Never in a million years would I have thought to keep that sucker there until the intial wire's passed through. Thank you so much for sharing your talent (and tips)! A+ 😊
I was afraid to watch this because you were starting out with four wires. Then I tried wrapping a rounded tumbled stone. Lots of super helpful tips, Thank you!
I just stumbled upon your video. Idk yet if you’ve made more, but I like how you made me feel like I was sitting at the table with you working. Very soothing, very informative and I hope you continue to put out more videos. (I too made my own notes- thx)
Thank you. Covid really changed my schedule, and I'm just now in a position to maybe make more videos again. Been a crazy year. I am active daily on Instagram & FB. I appreciate your kind words!
Appreciate you're tutorial. I've only wrapped sea glass and a few regular old stones but have some fairly large, irregular shaped obsidian Crystal's someone has ask me to wrap. You're video is just what I was looking for and appreciate your tip with the tape...who would have thought? These stones are so smooth it's hard to hold. Thanks again, look forward to watching more. Best wishes
Oh I’m not complaining I learned a lot from your video and I understand about the tumbles, I just thought there was a couple strands of overkill that’s all the stone just looked very sturdy a couple wires back but it was a very good video
I like your video a lot. I have lots of tumbled stones with weird shapes so I'm looking forward to giving your approach a go. Any hints on how I could get a bail or loop/hook at both ends of the stone so I could link them together (as for making a rainchain)?. Thanks.
Im just starting wrapping jewelry, I think you did awesome job on this, i wouldnt of even tried wrapping this stone lol but after watching your video i might give it a go i have alot of weird shapped stones & rocks ive tumbled
Great tutorial!!!! I don't cut my 28 weaving wire, I put my wire on a bobbez from Beadsmith (I think) If you want to do a search. that way your wire does not get kinks in it and the wire stays really nice. I am really looking forward to see more tutorials from you!!! For your first video, AAA+++ Cheers from Vancouver, Canada
Great tutorial... I like to buy tumbled stones them wrap them so I can wear them. Started with tumbled. Haven't wrapped too many cabochons. Some great tips here.
Thank you for your video. I have several odd shaped stones I have been wanting a more creative wrapping technique for. I look forward to watching some of your videos. Have you tried using the blue masking tape? I find it easier to use than the duct tape.
You may be new to this but your camera work is excellent. Some tutorials I’ve watched I’ve seen nothing it’s as if they were working under a table ! Just irritating talk!!! Well done you.
I like the design except the heart shape 'short cuts' at the bail. Your chain is eventually going to catch on the ends. You can see one loose end at 59:30.
Thank you thank you, I'm new to wire wrapping, and my problem is my stones are just too wide and slippery. You've given me workable solutions, and don't make it look so easy that I think "I can't do that" because I know you have just a bit more experience than me!
Mostly flush cut pliers, chain nose pliers, and round pliers. You can typically buy them in a set fairly inexpensively from craft stores. I've been slowly upgrading to Lindstrom's line, but anything can get you started.
If you'd like to help support me and my work, I sell reasonably priced pendants like these. Please take a look. Thanks for watching! www.wornwizard.com
You have some incredible pieces. You should do quite well.
I am a newbie and this video has helped me tremendously since my stones are all odd shaped...which I prefer. Thank you so much!
My pleasure!
The tape idea is such a good idea!!!! Thank you, I am new to wrapping and tumbling.
You do some nice work, Lil'brother. I picked up a tip or two from you. It's hard to believe you were only a couple months at it at this point. Your a natural tutor.
Great video to learn lots of hints and tips when just starting out thanks!
Oxana,Kelly Jones Heather boyd and Csl designs they're all brilliant. The way Heather boyd manipulates the wire like its nothing. These are my inspiration
Looks good. One of the better wraps for an irregular stone that I've seen on You Tube.
Your video was great! If I can wrap that way ìn a couple of months after I get started, I will thank my lucky stars! This came out lovely!❤
Thank you! I bet you'll do great!
For someone that's been doing this for a few months your doing brilliantly 👏 lovely neat work
Keep on yammering, I’m learning new ways of doing wraps.
Great job. I enjoyed your commentary too. I found myself nodding to things you were saying as if I was there. Really love the piece too!

Wow, beautiful work. You really turned the smoky quartz into a show piece. Thank you for the tutorial.
You are the only person I've watched so far that used a push pin and I'm glad I watched you today. I'll be watching more. I'm so new here ✌🏽️

Thank you Michelle. I sincerely appreciate your comment!
It’s very unique and beautiful. I haven’t tried any pendants yet just rings you made it look easy for such an irregular shape of stone

That kind of pretty I like the way you wrap that .
I hate the speed up ones, love hearing your voice calmly explaining everything! Love your creations!
Thank You very much, I'm having a hard time finding videos on stones that have different shapes, size and that's all I have right now, can't always have a perfect cabochon to work with. Hope you do more, I have been working on rings now I'll try pendants.

I've had a tumbled stone I've been trying to wrap for a long time! Your video is the only one that has helped me accomplish it!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Great job! I have some odd shaped crystals and now I know what to do! Just getting into this hobby and your video helped me a lot!
A real work of art ! So creative. I learned a lot from this video. Thanks for taking the time to make it.
The pin idea is great too!
Great idea with your 2 sided tape and the wood block, LOVE IT!!!
Great job. Thanks for the tips and tricks.

Great piece, and you are doing fantastic for a few months of work I am a Newby also 😀 thank you

Thank you Shelly! Glad I could help
Busier than I really think it needed to be but a lot in one video as a teaching piece thank you!
Tumbled stones require a little excess the way I do them. If you want simple, stick with cabochons.
Oh I’m not complaining I learned a lot from your video and I understand about the tumbles, I just thought there was a couple strands of overkill that’s all the stone just looked very sturdy a couple wires back but it was a very good video
❤ I loved your 1st video really nice I’m so new. It was easy to watch and you were great
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the craft as much as I have 👍
Thank you so much. I recently received many tumbled stones and wondered how to wrap them. You have shown that it is possible.
That’s beautifully done
I found this very interesting and helpful. I am starting to wrap odd shaped tumbles now. I usually only do the tree of life on cabochons. Thank you. ❤
Thank you! Tumbles are a unique challenge, but they are fun :)
I'm right there with you, tumbled stones is what I've got. Thanks a bunch.
I really enjoyed this video. Nice wraps on tumbled stones are hard to find. Thanks :)
Glad you enjoyed it! I was a bit hesitant to upload something so long, but it seems to have gone over well!
I loved your video...loved hearing you explain everything! Makes me want to go and buy tumbled stones!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Great first vid!! Really enjoyed watching! Coffee jitters and all 😁 Subscribed and look forward following you on your wire wrapping journey 👍
Great video thank you, and I love what you did with the stone, and your attention to detail. My style. 😊 NZ

Glad you enjoyed it!

I try! Thanks for the kind comment
Very pretty & neat!! I would wear it.
I just started wire wrapping and work with stones I tumble. You have given me strength to go on.
Glad I could help 😃

Hello I am new to your channel and I am new to wire work I love that you did absolutely beautiful thank you for sharing this with us 😊 🤗
Thank you for watching!
I have been struggling to the point of colorful vocabulary with tumbled stones for 2 days. I am definitely doing the tape from now on.
That turned out very cool ✌🏽️
Thanks! I appreciate you
Great tutorial easy to follow
absolutely beautiful
is that round wire Matt? the 20 gauge raw copper.
i thunk youve done an awsome job
So beautiful
You may be new to this but your camera work is excellent. Some tutorials I’ve watched I’ve seen nothing it’s as if they were working under a table ! Just irritating talk!!! Well done you.
Beautiful 🥰✨
Thank you sharing.
This is great, thanks.
I like the design except the heart shape 'short cuts' at the bail. Your chain is eventually going to catch on the ends. You can see one loose end at 59:30.
Definitely something to consider. If you see problem areas, tweak them as needed. 👍
Thank you thank you, I'm new to wire wrapping, and my problem is my stones are just too wide and slippery. You've given me workable solutions, and don't make it look so easy that I think "I can't do that" because I know you have just a bit more experience than me!
I’m looking for the address of the company you buy your wire from. I thought you said you’d put it below. Can’t find it.
A lot of work goes in that finished product, just how much would you charge for a pendant like that. Beautiful work btw!!
I make them full time now! I like to think they are affordable. You can see them at www.wornwizard.com
Beautiful 💕
Your work is definitely not shabby
I just found this. The piece of plastic with double sided tape is brilliant for holding the stone.
Still using it today. I also found a metal scale weight I use in a similar way. Glad you found it useful
Love your videos!
curious what tools are you using? :)
Mostly flush cut pliers, chain nose pliers, and round pliers. You can typically buy them in a set fairly inexpensively from craft stores. I've been slowly upgrading to Lindstrom's line, but anything can get you started.
Amazing!
What kind of chain would you use with this?
Copper link chain or ball chain are my go to's 👍
Do you use dead soft wire?
Yes
