    Please note that the beauty of this system is - you can use NON Epson thermal printers. And, you can run almost unlimited hardware devices (tablets, iphones, smartphones, etc) connected for the same cost. This makes it a very economical, flexible, and "portable" POS that you own yourself - no fear of anybody picking up your hardware if you don't pay extortionate POS subscriptions.

    How did you setup the iot to recognize the printer via ethernet, i cant manage to do that

      The printers are installed with their drivers properly in windows first. When you install the Odoo virtual IOT software in the computer, Odoo will recognize the printers that are installed in the machine. You can also "refresh handlers" in the virtual IOT box dialogue. They do NOT need to be Epson brand.

    Wow the pos system looks very interesting. How much would that cost ?

      The Odoo subscription is only $13.50 per month, and you will need some hardware (printers, etc), but likely you already have many of the hardware components available laying around. Do contact us if we can help!

    Virtual IOT is free of cost ?

    • @LIGHTHOUSEINFO-TECH
      @LIGHTHOUSEINFO-TECH  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No. Paid subscription. Hopefully ODOO will reconsider this though, to more freely allow non Epson printers.

    Why does my iot box connect in Firefox but not in chrome?

      Check your firewall. Allow an exception for Odoo if needed.

    Hello, I love the video but this is more of a demonstration than a setup, Is there a way you can show us how the printers were actually setup???

      Install the printers normally as you would do if you were just doing a normal printer install. Then, you need to check your DHCP settings in the router and identify your DHCP router range. For best results, set a static IP address to each printer to something OUTSIDE of the DHCP range. You can do this in the printer configuration page of windows settings.
