Hey everyone, thank you for watching this Q&A live or on VOD. We have now added chapters to make it easier for you to find the topics you are interested in! If you are having problems with the audio quality of our guest, you may find it helpful to turn on the automatic subtitles - they are not always 100% accurate, but they may help you to understand. On another note, some were asking for VR - we already asked about it in our last interview, might be worth watching as well: th-cam.com/video/KXvq23EYsvE/w-d-xo.html -Michel
Thanks a lot for the video. It's great to read that VR is supported day 1 but we don't have any details beyond that. It would be nice to know if VR is a simple adapting job from 2d to 3d or if Kunos is actually trying to make a strong VR mode. I e: will there be native openXR support. If this is in ACE, all VR users will be very happy. Edit: OpenXR is listed in steam. So that's a great first step.
@@L_Emir_de_Passy As i understand, they are making a great effort at VR because they dropped a development engine because it didn't work good with VR and triple screens. I believe it will be great but we will see.
I really like, that they are not doing the typical game everyone expected, but they try to do something new and not just for the purpose on being extra. Their approach sounds really progressive!
Marco is a true petrolhead! Describing the pleasure of driving on roads with less powerful cars is a thing that lives in SO MANY people! This is amazing! After 20 years of simracing I am extremly excited to play this. Amazing. Perfect. Great! ♥♥♥
Amazing, this is like a more sim version of driving in Test Drive Unlimited, basically. We might finally have our proper Microsoft Car Simulator with such idea.
I saw an interview like 2 years ago where Marco was talking about that he loves to play Microsoft Flight Simulator and that he is almost playing it more than sim racing, he really liked the open world... That was a first hint what they are planning with AC Evo :D
@@quietbatpersontheir is racing, what did you get that from, But just doing racing is not enough anymore, their needs to be more, Its an revolution because it will have both race tracks and open world with proper sim physics, More freedom in the open world than forza horizon, career mode with a progression, Customize and upgrade cars, vr, and mod support, It could litterly be the best part of gt7, fh5, tdu while still have all the strengths of ac1 and acc. Thats is a true revolution to say the least.
@@quietbatperson what are you on about mate? The game is still as he said a simulation. They don't want to dumb it down. And it sure as hell still has racing in it. In case you didn't notice they said at least 5 tracks for early access with Bathurst, Brands Hatch and Imola showcased as well. This is indeed the biggest revolution in racing game history. An open world racer on a simulation model, not arcade, or simcade, or whatever else. Most racing games are either tracks or open world. The open world games have fictional tracks usually built into that open world. And from those two directions, no open world game has been a true racing simulator. AC is the closest we got to it, and the modding community is awesome, but lets be real, its not proper open world. You just load up a track again, just bigger. And it has NONE of the open world events/functions/whatever else that open world games have. Kunos is for the first time bringing both of these worlds and elements together in one. Nobody said this was the first Open World game, or the first racing simulator. But it IS the first racing simulator with open world. That is indeed rather revolutionary.
@@quietbatperson The game is not a racing simulator, it's a driving simulator. Think about what the most popular Assetto Corsa mods where. They know their crowd are driving enthusiasts, imagine going to virtual car meets being able to walk around and explore others' cars and their engines. Then take a cruise around listening to your V12 whilst the sun sets or drifting around Tokyo at night. You are confusing this game with ACC and iRacing which are the hardcore sims. This seems to be somewhere in-between Forza Horizon, Gran Turismo and the hardcore sims.
I don't understand, why nobody at any of the interviews to Kunos ... Why nobody ask them about if there is ANY kind of contact between them and the 2 main Modders of the GAME AC1 (Not talking about cars nor tracks mods) ... Ilja Jusupov (CSP and Content Manager) and Petter (PURE) ... Because I am not so sure if KUNOS realized that it's mainly because of the work of those 2 guys that KUNOS have sold and continue to sell countless copies of AC1 over about 10 years already, imagine how much money, without the kunos lifting a finger for years. So I think that KUNOS should THANK to those 2 guys for keeping AC1 alive since many years, because the main HUGE INCOME of Kunos since AC1 launch, I am sure it has been and continues to be AC1 sells and not ACC sells. The community of AC1 it's a lot bigger than ACC community, thanks to the modders, same that has been happening to GTA 5 for example.
By mentioning modders Kunos would acknowledge that people outside the company do a better job than themselves, for free! That would be kinda awkward and embarrassing. Also AC1 is history for Kunos.
yes i agree. Bought AC and ACC at the same time and played AC with content manager 90% of the time. Game becomes so much more fun through Content Manager.
@@privateblop9485 I think those are just rumors, but nothing confirmed, and I am sure that Ilja would be happy to tell the entire community about being hired by Kunos, there is no need to keep it in mistery, so I think he is not working for Kunos
Someone else scanned the QR code from the RSR Nürburg to see if it works? lol 😅 amazing 16:10 Can't wait for 16 Jan 🙂 For sure AC Evo will be a huge success, thank you Kunos for such a great work 👍🏻
Not sure if the interviewer realized but I clearly understood Marco said the open world would be streamed!!!, if I understood well the full open world will not be stored in your PC (that is why he said dont worry the open world will not take a lot of space....), seems it will be stored in a server and it will stream to your PC as needed, in fact the exact same technology MS flight simulator 2024 uses now, also when he explained how this open world was created what he described (procedural buildings and vegetation, LIDAR grid,...) is exactly the same technology MS developed time ago for MS Flight simulator 2024. And in my humble opinion THIS should be the main question to ask Kunos regarding the open world, how are they gonna avoid the huge issues with servers and streaming MS is actually still having with his Flight simulator 2024 using this exactly same technology, but Kunos is not MS and do not have their server resources I assume,.... what are they gonna do to avoid this issues???? I think this is THE QUESTION TO ASK...
I don't think he mentioned that the open world will be streamed from servers. Why should it be? Thats not even a small percentage of the Flight Sim world size. The reason it would not take crazy amounts of disk space might be a lot shared assets and textures, the Eifel region is quite uniform in that regard. But we will see and can ask about this next time! -Michel
@@OverTake_ggHi, from 1:05:07, after explaining just before a scanning system equivalent from the one MS fligth simulator 2024 uses, he literally says they use "a system that stream only the information you need", then say the amount of information is not the same like in a flight simulator, I can only assume because he was surely expecting the question regarding the big issues MS is having with basically the same technology. Then he says this way you do not need a "huge PC configuration", I assume he was referring to the amount of local storage in your PC. Maybe I am totally missunderstood, but he literally!! said it. This mean first you will need a permanente good internet connection, that not everybody has, second this mean in a future when they stop the servers you will not have access anymore, but as said a company like Microsoft with all it's power and resources still has today big issues with it in Flight simulator 2024 (issues I am suffering also...) although promissing this was not going to happen (literally when they launched the game their servers were unable to support the load for days). A good question for the next interview would be how they plan to avoid this happened to them, I can only assume they will only have a pretty small server structure compared with what MS for sure has (probably he will argue they need to stream less data than a flight simulator, as he already said). Tbh for me the internet connection is not an issue and probably to have this size of a map with this amount of detail, that apparently they want to even extend, probably this technology is the only way to do it, I totally understand that and for me it is not an issue at all. But as said if that is the way they do it then the big elephant in the room is how they will avoid the issues a huge mega corporation like MS is still today having using equivalent technology. And btw if you use MS Flight simulator 2024 you know the amount of detail at ground level is very good for a Flight simulator yes, but nothing to do with the detail they showed in the images of EVO...
From what I understood it’s procedural terrain generation, as opposed to fetching the terrain off the disk drive. I think he means streaming in this way, dynamically generating the terrain at runtime (locally).
@@Jim_AC hope you are right, but streaming as far as I know means stream from one computer, the server, to other computer, the client. But maybe you are right and Marco meant that, dynamically generated inside our PC and “streamed” to the game engine inside our PC internally… but “streaming” does not mean that, plus the mention to not need a high end PC, stating he could run it in his laptop, plus the mention to the flight sims…. all point as far as I understood to MS flight simulator 2024 model, but I hope you are right man. Would be great if Michel could clarify this point with Marco.
In other words it is used as DirectStorage, so you have the complete asset on your hard disk (SSD) and only the needed portion where you are will be loaded (streamed) into memory. Marco explained that the map data is not on storage as a whole but in a very basic terrain information data and they compose terrain and objects (like the ED gas station) on the fly. This is why the user does not have to have a huge terabyte storage for the open world and a typical gamer PC will be enough.
Would be so cool if they use the original weatheroutlook to simulate the weather, temperature, clouds, sun, rain, wind and so on. This has so much potential its insane. This could become so big if they do it right, not only for us simdrivers, also for gamers. I wish them all the success, this is the idea of a sim i've been waiting for so long. Also the addon potential, with different events on weekends and so on, there are literally no limits.
I hope they implement hard economy (I don't want to get a Lamborghini at the start for free) ... Since it's a simulation, so I would expect that fuel prices are real - cars are expensive - you have to "work" for yout momey and all that stuff to make the progression harder. Like world of warcraft, you don't can't buy a good mount because it is so expensive!
Any news about when the console version will release. Because the game will be in early access and will release fully next fall, will they work in conjunction in making a console version or will that only be done after the full release
Oh boy I pray that he's right!! If I'm playing this on my PS5 within the next year, it'd be amazing. Not holding my breath, and looking forward to all the PC people "breaking" it in.
I really can't wait for AC EVO. AC series was always my fauvorite sims. I couldn't be here today on time to ask Marco about it but I have to do it, so...Will AC EVO simulate chasis damage, especially in case of cutting high susage curbs like on Monza or Zolder chicanes?
I am a bit disappointed that snow won't be a thing in AC EVO, it would be amazing to at least have it for open world. I really hope that they will allow people to mod those type of things into AC EVO, i mean if they are not planning to do it why not allow someone to make a mod for it ? It will only make the game better.
@@Motod94 I don't think that they will allow that much flexibility with modding unfortunately, let's see hopefully Kunos decides to put snow in the game at some point.
With electric cars confirmed I really hope we get to see the Lucid Sapphire on Evo Edit: A great question for next time would be about proximity chat in the open world
I dont understand the appeal with destroying your cars, its not wreckfest, and its not worth to lose out on so many licences, beamng dosent have any licenses, and they cant even get Ferrari any more even with mods, and doing this will ruin your franshise to get any good licences in future, and thats what kunos think about. I could not care less about visual damage.
Forbidden random mechanical failures I can understand, they don't want to give the impression that their cars may randomly break down on the road. The collision damage thing I understand less. Do they really think that people think that a Ferrari won't be squashed in a high speed collision with a wall, just like any other car... reminds me of Apple who doesn't allow bad guys in movies to have an iPhone. Like really But Marco is right, it's not the fault of Kunos. If for example Ferrari says they don't allow it, it doesn't really matter if Lamborghini, BMW, Porsche says "Do whatever you like" you have to follow Ferrari's limitations on all cars. Or leave Ferraris out completely (Somehow I have a feeling it's Ferrari who is in the forefront of this... I could be wrong).
@@shredd5705I dig how he brought up Grand Prix Legends and how you could blow your engine if you missed a shift. Those days are gone, I guess. Small price to pay to get all the car licenses.
Aaah! I missed my chance for a question! I wanted to know if they are open to creating other open world maps like for example around Spa, or Monza and some other iconic tracks?
Would be really nice if ACE reached the level of official activities like GT7. For me personally the open map doesn't matter much, but rankings, tournaments, possibly e-sport, this is what I would like to see the most.
What i miss the most is a good time trail, with same conditions for everyone. I did 13 World Records in Project Cars back in the day at the Nordschleife, but after that, there was not much like that. Would like to battle out times around the Nürburgring again, but within a solid enviorment and hopefully anticheat too.
Were there any questions or mentions of implementation of real world racing rules that were missing from the original AC like: timed races, full course yellow flags and rolling starts, and also maybe a spotter...?
59:50 will AC Evo have standing start/rolling start? Very hesitant answer from Marco. Not a good sign. So will there be rolling start or not in AC Evo? Cmon it's a "yes or no" question. Yes is yes, no is no.
@@kidmaciek2 Would depend on the racing discipline, didn't he say that? They have rolling start in ACC, so I can't believe they would build an engine that doesn't allow rolling starts. Would be kinda backwards if GT3 racing was without rolling starts again
Weird one but I hope AC Evo gets exhaust flames correct. Like the huge orange slow flickers from an old Gr.5 race care which light up compared to the high pressure blue almost just like flames from a modern GT3 car
Everything sounds good. My only concern is multiplayer wont be out in the initial early access. I guess im gonna have to wait for the 2nd or 3rd update to buy it, but im excited either way.
i really hope they dont use the cars from ACE as traffic cars. Generic road cars like in Forza Horizon is the way to go. They dont even need to model the interior
@@enfantterrible4868 I agree, the traffic should have some total shitboxes too, the kind that the player would never want to drive. More realistic looking and makes you feel the contrast of having a nice sports car, overtaking them with ease.
Man imagine how fun driving a ferrari in slow moving traffic with 40 other players will be. There better be widebody kits, streached tires with totally cambered out suspension and street takeovers so we can have all the low points of car culture in one spot so i can no hesi my sweet t-rex and toilet mods
With the cars in the game, has there been any thoughts at all to Classic Australian cars, like the 1988 VL Commodore Executive, or VN SS Commodore, not just the Walkinshaw or VF like other sim titles????

This isnt necessary at all like @seEyMoReBuTtS said, also beyond that you can use the internet where people discuss and share car setups so even with no understanding at all this is completely covered already.
@OverTake_gg thank you for the reply and the video. There is a very important VR feature that helps improve performance drastically for all VR headsets and is called foveated rendering. The best kind is quad view. I wanted to know if this is supported in ACE.
Bro the video is really difficult to watch with the combination of loud audio clips, quiet microphone volume and you not really engaging with Marco, too busy clicking through things on your screen!
Thanks for your feedback, at one point I just toned down all additional audio sources to understand Marco better. I had to find a balance bringing up the big list of questions our community had and also selecting things we show in the stream + engage with Marco. Sorry to hear, that it didn't work so well for you. -Michel
@OverTake_gg half an hour it became a lot better, really appreciate the response and the changes midway through! Thanks again Michel, good video with lots of information
In AC I was always faster with tire wear turned on! It would be nice if the game motivates the players to stop using refference braking and ideal lines, aids, unlimited fuel or no tire wear.
I love all of these guys asking questions in the chat, as if OverTake wasn't going to be taking questions from their forum members over random people on youtube. lol
So interesting to hear from the love of normal Street Cars. But why are the ingame Footage from the Alpine looks far behind Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport?
i really would love to see cars like the seat alhambra- vw sharan- vauxhall zafira if at all possible, while there are any cars you can own in real life, many of the popular everyday cars are just not represented. seat alhambra 1.9tdi asx with a darkside tune, come on, you know it makes sense
@@divinasi0n damm...this is a must have of all racing games....I bought AMS2 just for that reason...so much hype with EVO....I hope they get it right...
man those guys have it wrong on the whole licencing thing it's advertising not I.P. if a game got the latest model of cars in it can only contribute to sales I'm sure they've had a lot of sales from sim fans through the years stop talking to lawyers about getting the licences and start talking to the marketing teams they should be paying you to put their cars in the game man make stop asking for a licence start telling them if you want the cars in the game your welcome to ask us to do it if you want us practise your car/cars you can pay us to work on it it's there added value to have the cars in the game not your privilege your selling the influence of the game short if you ask anyone who plays it I'm sure on that. like if you agree see if they can understand the level of how the games influence our buying choices when it comes to what we loved in games as younger people and even now i like cars because i enjoyed driving them in a sim hit the like button to let them know
The audio quality on Marco's end is embarassingly bad guys. Was it so hard to get him a pair of headphones and a cheap mic for this thing? It'd be bearable for a couple minutes,.but for a 90minutes QA? Come on
Unbelievable what people's are complaining about. They are not happy to get information, no they are complaining about the sound. What a world we are living...
@@OverTake_gg Wasn't really meant as an attack on you, I think I worded that in a wrong way, it's Kunos's fault at the end of it. But if you're gonna host a stream on your platform you're still kind of responsible for the technical stuff and that includes making sure the audio quality is good.
Amazing, 5 cars and neighborhood that only locals know! Definitely, game changer . But will see, will see, was thy broken ohysics of ac and acc fixed or not
He said there will be minimum 15 circuits by the end of early access. Within months of 1.0 release, they aim for 20 circuits, from all 5 continents. From what I understood, this is all "free" content, not even including DLC packs yet. Sounds to me like circuit is not forgotten. Also DLC packs aim for more complete classes now (so that there won't be cars without competitors on the grid, like in AC1). AI is still using the same physics as player, but trained with deep learning AI, so they can easily improve every car/track combination. Drivers will have personalities, one more aggressive etc.. plus they are collaborating with SimGrid for multiplayer. Safety rating system will be improved version of ACC rating. I don't see why racing focused people should be worried
@ thanks for that, I love all Assetto sims, the open world stuff is definitely a Kool idea, I just hoping we still get a good competitive side as it’s bread and butter, I’m sick to death of IRacing and really hope AC Evo delivers 🙏
@SURG3NT multiplayer isn't going to be in the initial early access release, sadly. As long as the multiplayer is good when it releases I'll check it out.
@andreasmoller9798 idk. I disagree with this when it comes to sim racing but I guess they're going down a different path. I guess we don't have to worry about it replacing acc anytime soon. I know alot of people were worried about that. Multiplayer racing is what keeps alot of people coming back to the game. No mod support at launch and a few cars and no multiplayer. I dont mind waiting. I was just sharing my opinion. I'll definitely pick it up when they add multiplayer.
So no mods until 2026, Open World streamed so online only & no dynamic weather Not sure how OW could be modded then? Would have liked follow-ups, every answer was just OK next question. Lots of questions remain on mods, with commercial agreements Marco said mods will need to be locked down. We are none the wiser on all this, literally the #1 question, instead we heard about car wash and oil changes! 🤦♂
We hope TH-cam can provide this in the future with an automated translation for turkish, because that would be quite some effort. But maybe we find a turkish speaking volunteer at some point. Greetings! -Michel
one thing that they have to know is that people are expecting the mods to be implemented in the game, i know that they can't just put some things because of bureaucracy, but they can just bypass... for exemple, make a deal with the moders for then to create the things that they as a Company can't, and they get behind the scenes the support from the company, create a super app like content manager that install everything that the game need but can't have hahaahha the mods sell the game, i will be frustrated if we dont have shutoko and the other's, also why not create a mod for demage but sell as a mod? the Company is to much in the good guy, do some business behind the scenes men, put some money in the hand of moders to do some things, or do in your company and sell as a mod that for sure was not done officially👀
Again, no "confirmation" of a sandbox, freeplay mode. All they say is that you will be able to "rent" any car with "in game credits". This is not the same as a sandbox, this is "forcing" us to play or rent this car so I can use it.
We just have to wait and see, much more info will be coming before launch, i dont see a problem to be buying the cars, kunos deserve support for how much they listen to community, They have my money for sure, I understand some people wants a sandbox mode, kunos will proably include it, But you wont be able to. Customize your cars unless you buy them, We have to wait and see what they confirm, but i have not been this excited for a racing game in a long time
@ uh me neither, and for sure I support them and have bought every doc for both acc and ac, dont mind paying for the content because it is top notch, but once I pay for them I want to be able to use the content without having to strategize if I have to use $ or anything to be aboe to enjoy the content. Just a free play, dont care about tuning or modding.
You can't have both ways. Buying a Ferrari will not feel the same (like anything) if you can just drive that same Ferrari via a menu, with no limitations. This is lacking even from Forza Horizon, gaining all the hottest cars is way too easy. In Test Drive Unlimited it was much harder, and thus felt more rewarding once you got there Idea here is that renting doesn't allow you to customize cars, so ownership is always better. You have to have some barrier, otherwise the career mode becomes pointless 99% of AAA games out there are not "sandboxes". You have to complete the story to see the ending. Sandbox is not a game, sandbox is a sandbox. I know that in hardcore driving sim world sandbox is the expectation, unlike in any other game genre. But that's why sims often have 0 gameplay in them. You can't make a career mode without goals. And if all the best cars are in your menu anyway.... the beans are already spilled. Why race the circuits against AI, if the money won from there means nothing People want meaningful progression and single player gameplay.... but then they complain that you can't access everything at once. We can't have both. Feels like some people will want to complain, no matter what. Damned if you do, damned if you don't for Kunos. I'm sure that earning enough in-game money to get a car you like won't be that hard. You can appreciate the lower power cars too, Kunos puts the same detail into every car. If someone needs to get straight to the most powerful cars or they won't buy the game, are they really even petrol heads. Driving some unwanted car for a while will be a minor inconvenience.
@ i get that but feel like the ones left behind are the ones that supported Kunos, by being a sandbox, and are catering to the audience they didnt have before.
I understand your concerns, probably the community is a bit split right now between people that are hyped about the open world and others who just want pure (online) racing. They want to make both groups happy. We'll see! -Michel

Its very difficult to be an English speaker listening to Italians speaking English-uh because-uh they-uh add-uh an-uh uh-uh to-uh each-uh word-uh And the pacing of speech leads most English speakers to presume that they have reached the end of their sentence, which makes it hard to catch the right moment to interject. @@L_Emir_de_Passy As i understand, they are making a great effort at VR because they dropped a development engine because it didn't work good with VR and triple screens. I believe it will be great but we will see.

Marco is a true petrolhead! Describing the pleasure of driving on roads with less powerful cars is a thing that lives in SO MANY people! This is amazing! After 20 years of simracing I am extremly excited to play this. Amazing. Perfect. Great! ♥♥♥
Holy shit Kunos, if you pull this off - this will without a doubt be the best car game in history. I'm frickin' excited!
@@HomieFFM that’s sick!
Wow. As a forza horizon guy im so hyped for this. And also cool having the comfort of feeling like a game you really like is in safe hands.
Kunos is on something here, the biggest revolution in a racing game in history, could even put forza and gt to shame.
The biggest revolution in racing game history is a game mode with zero racing?
@@quietbatpersontheir is racing, what did you get that from,
But just doing racing is not enough anymore, their needs to be more,
Its an revolution because it will have both race tracks and open world with proper sim physics,
More freedom in the open world than forza horizon, career mode with a progression,
Customize and upgrade cars, vr, and mod support,
It could litterly be the best part of gt7, fh5, tdu while still have all the strengths of ac1 and acc.
Thats is a true revolution to say the least.
A boy can hope!!!🤞
I heard the CSP guy has actually been hired by Kunos, I don't know for the Pure guy.

For sure AC Evo will be a huge success, thank you Kunos for such a great work 👍🏻
Not sure if the interviewer realized but I clearly understood Marco said the open world would be streamed!!!, if I understood well the full open world will not be stored in your PC (that is why he said dont worry the open world will not take a lot of space....), seems it will be stored in a server and it will stream to your PC as needed, in fact the exact same technology MS flight simulator 2024 uses now, also when he explained how this open world was created what he described (procedural buildings and vegetation, LIDAR grid,...) is exactly the same technology MS developed time ago for MS Flight simulator 2024.
The Mazda Mx5 looks sick!❤
It will be epic for sure. I just hope they put a lot of effort in graphic polishing of the open world
It still looks quite solid from the footage we seen so far, its not far behind fh5 in terms of enviroment detail, but way ahead with car details.

This could become so big if they do it right, not only for us simdrivers, also for gamers. I wish them all the success, this is the idea of a sim i've been waiting for so long. Also the addon potential, with different events on weekends and so on, there are literally no limits.

"Bruno Silva :
Hardcore simracers don’t care about open world" my answer! Play iRacing Goodbye! This Game will be the Best Racing Game yet! by far.

I am a bit disappointed that snow won't be a thing in AC EVO, it would be amazing to at least have it for open world. I really hope that they will allow people to mod those type of things into AC EVO, i mean if they are not planning to do it why not allow someone to make a mod for it ? It will only make the game better.
Yeah i 100% agree, but for some reason i don't see it happening.

With electric cars confirmed I really hope we get to see the Lucid Sapphire on Evo

Stupid manufactures doesn't allow realistic visual damaging. That's why Beamng is awesome.
If you treat it like a sim you wouldn't crash. I always drive in any sim imagining I paid for the car.
Like really
But Marco is right, it's not the fault of Kunos.

59:50 will AC Evo have standing start/rolling start?
Very hesitant answer from Marco. Not a good sign.
So will there be rolling start or not in AC Evo? Cmon it's a "yes or no" question. Yes is yes, no is no.
Yeah I caught that as well, he didn’t really give a clear answer
@@kidmaciek2 Would depend on the racing discipline, didn't he say that? They have rolling start in ACC, so I can't believe they would build an engine that doesn't allow rolling starts. Would be kinda backwards if GT3 racing was without rolling starts again
You do know that different racing disciplines use different types of starts. So it's not a yes or no question.
Weird one but I hope AC Evo gets exhaust flames correct. Like the huge orange slow flickers from an old Gr.5 race care which light up compared to the high pressure blue almost just like flames from a modern GT3 car

From what I understood, this is all "free" content, not even including DLC packs yet. Sounds to me like circuit is not forgotten. Also DLC packs aim for more complete classes now (so that there won't be cars without competitors on the grid, like in AC1). one thing that they have to know is that people are expecting the mods to be implemented in the game, i know that they can't just put some things because of bureaucracy, but they can just bypass... for exemple, make a deal with the moders for then to create the things that they as a Company can't, and they get behind the scenes the support from the company, create a super app like content manager that install everything that the game need but can't have hahaahha the mods sell the game, i will be frustrated if we dont have shutoko and the other's, also why not create a mod for demage but sell as a mod? the Company is to much in the good guy, do some business behind the scenes men, put some money in the hand of moders to do some things, or do in your company and sell as a mod that for sure was not done officially👀
Again, no "confirmation" of a sandbox, freeplay mode. All they say is that you will be able to "rent" any car with "in game credits". This is not the same as a sandbox, this is "forcing" us to play or rent this car so I can use it.
We just have to wait and see, much more info will be coming before launch, i dont see a problem to be buying the cars, kunos deserve support for how much they listen to community,
They have my money for sure,
I understand some people wants a sandbox mode, kunos will proably include it,
But you wont be able to. Customize your cars unless you buy them,
We have to wait and see what they confirm, but i have not been this excited for a racing game in a long time
@ uh me neither, and for sure I support them and have bought every doc for both acc and ac, dont mind paying for the content because it is top notch, but once I pay for them I want to be able to use the content without having to strategize if I have to use $ or anything to be aboe to enjoy the content. Just a free play, dont care about tuning or modding.
in game $ i mean
You can't have both ways. Buying a Ferrari will not feel the same (like anything) if you can just drive that same Ferrari via a menu, with no limitations. This is lacking even from Forza Horizon, gaining all the hottest cars is way too easy. In Test Drive Unlimited it was much harder, and thus felt more rewarding once you got there
Idea here is that renting doesn't allow you to customize cars, so ownership is always better. You have to have some barrier, otherwise the career mode becomes pointless
99% of AAA games out there are not "sandboxes".
Why race the circuits against AI, if the money won from there means nothing
People want meaningful progression and single player gameplay.... but then they complain that you can't access everything at once.
Waaaaaay too much on open world
I understand your concerns, probably the community is a bit split right now between people that are hyped about the open world and others who just want pure (online) racing. They want to make both groups happy. We'll see! -Michel
I don’t think it has to be a binary choice..
@@OverTake_gg Ty, for responding
this guy always interrupts whoever he is interviewing. imo overtake shouldve used a different host to interview marco
"always" is just not true 😅 And this was a Q&A with community questions in a limited timeframe. So we had more than 30 questions on our list, that made me move forward a few times, but that said I almost never interrupted or stopped Marco, so I don't know really where your impression is coming from. -Michel
@@OverTake_gg Dont cut Marco off though, if the stream is 3 hours its 3 hours. If anybody it should be Marco limiting his words not you limiting him. A Q&A is an interview anyway, because in an interview thats exactly what you do.
Again, at no point I cut Marco off. And if we agreed for a 1,5 hour Q&A I will respect our guests schedule. -Michel
@@OverTake_gg if thats his scheduele he will monitor the time.
Can’t hear a word he’s saying. Watched for 10min before I had to give up. Makes this video kinda useless.
Sorry to hear that, we will have a summary of the new details soon. Stay tuned :) -Michel
Sorry but Massarutto ist hardly to understand
It helps a bit to turn on the CC subtitles function on TH-cam. Not always 100% correct, but sometimes easier to understand then! -Michel
Any chance to use Ai to improve worse audio quality in the future?
@@OverTake_gg its not correct sometimes because the audio is bad, if the mic wasnt muffled it would pick everything up unless it was a unique phrase or mispronounced
So disappointed to hear open world will not be a full 1600km2 and that we will not be getting it in January. Why are we even talking about it then?
It will be 1600 km2 eventully just not as soon it launch.
watch 1:12:38 as Marco answers your concern
Lol they are selling the sim, they are allowed to talk about that. What they are trying to achieve is massive you cant expect it to be available when circuit racing is. Otherwise they can release Evo in one year if that would make you happy to have nothing until then?
Its very difficult to be an English speaker listening to Italians speaking English-uh because-uh they-uh add-uh an-uh uh-uh to-uh each-uh word-uh
And the pacing of speech leads most English speakers to presume that they have reached the end of their sentence, which makes it hard to catch the right moment to interject.
This is so difficult to listen to...
*I'm a Slav myself and I easily understand Marco , his pronunciation is different but pretty clear , I guess I'd have a bigger problem with understanding some Hindi guy or some Scot*
@@domasavpedzivin Same here. I think Italian is just very close in sounds to Slavic languages, and for sure it is easier for us to understand Italians because of that. Same with Portuguese.
Mmmm... No, thank you. Missing racing features, design to extract more money out of players, and riding the wave of Ilja's success (likely going for more community-developed features missing from the game).
Game is not released yet, or even yet fully revealed, this will be a hit thats for sure.
bye
@@andreasmoller9798 It will be a hit, worst case scenario only a lot of sales early on. But the more hardcore crowd may pass it in favor of other games due to mo engine damage and no rolling starts (needed for some series that mods or possible future DLC). About the use of in-game points to unlock content, I hope it's based on rFactor and not a pay to unlock early situation.
@@HugoBonamithe crowd you talking about is like 10-15% at most while it might gain twice or 3 times the audiance campared to ac1,
Engine damage or any visual damage cant happen because of licencing, explained in the video,
This will do everything as well as ac1 did but so much better in other areas it lacked,
Its to early to judge the game its not even out, and kunos has not yet revealed the details with early access program yet, but its not sacrificing any of sim elements to get open world or customize and upgrade cars, its still a full sim just like previous ac titles.
I have a BAD feeling that they'll charge money for a lot of things in the game, like charging to refuel, toll, join a race, etc.
They already said that this is NOT going to happen. No micro transactions! -Michel
I think they mean in-game currency. Can't see it happening for entering a race but fuel... maybe. It does sound like just about anything you do will earn cash.
this is kinda shit. It's been soooo long and now they promise vague info and open world that will take longer??? It better be amazing and perform really well.
@@larsleeson hating at its finest lmao, the game isnt gonna be fully released for another year of course they’re gonna announce features up until the full release
@adrianramirez5677 they will change their mind again. Lol. That is my gripe. It'll also be released, not finished
@@larsleeson the whole point of early access period is so they can take feedback and use that to finish the game exactly how they/people want it, and i’m not sure what you mean by they’ll change their mind again
@adrianramirez5677 I think the past 13 years were for r&d. Lol. They changed to this open world thing like months ago, I'm sure, and that is what pushed it all back. I'm sure trying to figure out how to make money in game. Now it would be interesting if they made advertising live and paid like real billboards. They just need the people to play the game to prove the amount of viewers of the sign per hour or whatever
i think that you’re forgetting that they released acc after ac, they havent been developing this game for 10 years. and they created a whole new engine which takes time. and this game isnt a worldwide phenomenon so to be spending millions on advertising is unrealistic and unreasonable, its simply for car lovers to enjoy. and even if they did buy billboards now is not the time to do it as it still doesnt release for another year.
How about improved in depth fun GT3 career mode? Don't worry there's a gas station. What???
what?
@kidmaciek2 Instead of providing great in depth GT3 racing career, they give us drive around town, stop at grocery store and gas station. I have real car to do that and that's WHAT it is
@@rocket3369 you cant please everyone, i guess there are more people interested in free roam than in career. i've never played career in any sim ever. just my pov
@kidmaciek2 Sure son
Did you even watch the video, you dont have to interact with the open world if you dont want to,
Thing is its more toward realism than ever before, no racing game has gone this much in depth, not even aaa titles.
Career mode will be very different to past ac titles, much more in depth, both ac and acc has bad career modes, kunos has pick up on that.
Forza looks better
Doesn't matter.
Good luck with the physics😂😂
Go play that failure of a game then
Not really, this is pretty much close to horizon as enviroments detail goes, and not to mention a far better open world map, with far more features, car model detail is better in ac evo than forza,
This will destroy forza if we go after whats been showcased
But won't be better. Even with their 400+ extra staff.
