It’s so sad but comforting at the same time (for the couple, not the ranger). I think that the ranger would’ve been feeling a lot of sadness and guilt, but I really can’t know how would I feel in that situation. When I heard that it was an elderly couple, and they wanted to be left there, my mind instantly went to “they’re there to die together” it was sadly true. But I thought it was beautiful that their lives ended on the same spot that their life as a couple began.

Have you found anything that helps? I've recently begun treating my undiagnosed insomnia. I started turning all the lights out (or only have a couple hallway lights on) 2 hours before bed. I also try to avoid sugar before bed and dont eat a heavy meal before sleeping because digesting food can keep you awake. I also turn my phone on dark mode and put the brightness all the way down a couple hours before bed. It hasn't completely solved my sleep issues but now I am getting better sleep than before and it has greatly improved my mood as well. 😊

I don't have a story but I wonder if anyone knows or has any information regarding the story of the disembodied feet which kept washing up in Canada somewhere. I think that a story mysteriously disappeared from the internet quite a while back, maybe the RCMP didn't want people inquiring about these sneakers which kept washing up on shore with feet inside of them but no rest of the body to be found? I did send an email to Criminally Listed channel because he's Canadian but I never got a reply. Why do so many people go missing over there and no one but family and friends try so hard to find them without any real assistance from police?

I have had people in my life who committed suicide, in the beginning I was tortured by the fact that maybe we could've done something but over time we all understood that if someone was so intent on it all we could do is accept that it was their life to do as they wished. How many times have I read the stories of Edgar Allen Poe and still many times I can do it again. It's like watching a scary movie that you already know the end of but still enjoy seeing it again. I can't even count the number of times I watched Invasion of the Body Snatchers and still love it! Maybe you don't need to unsubscribe, maybe you can come here many months from now to re-listen to some of these stories again....
