Hi! If the gasket is inside out, that is fine. If it is upside down, there might be issues. Please feel free to email service@nrs.com with some photos and we'll be happy to take a further look.
Thanks for the question. Aquaseal and Seamgrip are basically the same adhesive. The only difference is the viscosity. Seamgrip is thinner and a little runnier.
Hello Darugh, What sort of repair does your drysuit need? You're welcome to give us a call at 877-677-4327 and we can talk over repair options with you.
The title says repair...... this is a Replacement video. You use them (incorrectly) interchangeably. Would you make a video for "repairing" a bicycle innertube and then just put in a brand new one? I guess you could, and it would be less helpful. Btw, great replacement video. Thanks!
You make a valid point. To our knowledge it isn't possible to make a long term repair to a gasket. There are a couple of tricks that work in a pinch but anytime there is damage to a gasket it's time to replace it.
This is exactly the dude I would picture working at NRS.
Thanks Alex of the NRS repair team.
You didn't show the form being removed from the new gasket. Is there a risk of the new gasket being torn by shoving a 9" diameter form though it?
Great video! I have an XL NRS dry suit, do you have any recommendations on what size form I should be using? Thanks!
Hi there! Our repair team recommends a 10.5" insert for the neck and a 4" for the wrists.
@ awesome thanks for getting back to me!
Is Cotol 240 the cure accelerator in the kit you sell?
I just find out after gluing every thing together that the gasket is upside down… Is it ok? Is there a big difference?

You used seamgrip instead of aquaseal? Is it just as good?

A medium size pasta strainer did the job instead of the form
That wrecked my fucking head dude......
Will you repair my drysuit?
