I love how it's epic and beautiful at the same time.
Best MK piano version I've ever heard! LOVED IT!!
Strangely uplifting and optimistic. It feels appropriate for the end of a sequel in which Shang Tsung is finally defeated, all the millions of souls he's collected over the millennia disperse and ascend into the afterlife (with Kung Lao appearing before Liu Kang with his usual smirk and turning his hat one last time before departing), and Raiden gives a closing speech about how far they've come, the lessons they've learned, and the hope they now have for the future ahead of them.
Then the credits begin, with a much more standard version of the theme playing, followed by a mid-roll of Shao Khan announcing plans to conquer Earthrealm!
You should write the sequel
I can see Shao Kahn laughing and saying "Foolish Earthrealm" with his army in the background
This is not like original song absolutely, not about fight ,nor epic something. More like something lovely, calm and peaceful. Unexpected, trully awesome ))

МК форева! Эта версия как будто необходимое зло у доброго, положительного человека. Слышатся нотки злости, агрессии, но только для того чтобы сокрушить зло, не более. Мне понравилась эта сторона мортала комбата, впрочем как и смысл смертельной битвы. Как говорил Рейден, смысл смертельной битвы не в смерти, а в жизни. Кстати первая и самая лучшая часть мортала комбата в кинематографе по моему скромному мнению. Всем добра!!!!
