Having jumped into Space city only a few times, I randomly happened to be teamed with some pretty insane players on squad fill. The level of knowledge and situational awareness not only in the game in general but how others might play was beyond anyone I'd really ever encountered in any of my Zero Dam runs on squad fill. And I've played almost EXCLUSIVELY on Zero Dam (it's my favorite, because it's easy to solo and pretty stress free for the most part) Feels like a lot of the higher level players who are more into the PVP aspect go To space city. Last time I went in with an insane duo, we didn't even loot till the lobby was wiped. I'd almost never gotten that sort of rush of adrenaline on zero dam, even with some pretty insane players there too. It just feels like it takes a completely different level of performance to actually play Space City.
@@attursson only good thing they seem to be good at is knowing where people are and shooting. They have zero other skills. Some of them are not even familiar with maps and relations or even can navigate in the central hub.
That’s a bit easier to say when you’ve got a team to play with. I’d love space city more, but when you roll the dice and get a team that get in with one helmet… it becomes taxing
I hopped on Space City after i saw your content on it and how you play with your squad. Yesterday i watched the Video where you learned your 2 Mates the Map and 2 of you guys extracted while the 3rd one got gltiched and had to take the heli extract last second! The Video where you ran all Red Gear on SC was one of the first content i watched from you. Youre absolutely right being able to making quick decisions and having good aim is key in this game. People should watch more content if they struggle. Streamer and Content Creator have a ton of good advise for everyone. I came from tarkov and I had to adapt quickly!
As a person who plays Space city a lot, my one of my main issues with space city is that the loot isnt good enough to justify the high risk. You only get good loot off of other players equipment. But the BIGEEST PROBLEM is the learning curve. If you wanna do well, you need to know the map. To know the map, you need to play and lose a lot of gear. Few players play the map because no one wants to lose so much stuff just to learn another map when Dam can get you good money. I was pretty happy when hotzone came out because people can learn (parts) of the map with no fear of losing gear. Another suggestion I have is to have occasional easy mode for Brakesh and Space city, and completely remove Normals and replace it with hard. It's just my thoughts on it though.

I only played space city twice and got rolled within 90 seconds. I don't play that map because I simply am not that fast of a gamer. It's thrilling to watch your gameplay. Quick decisions and ace like aim. Good on you Attursson.
Nice one buddy truly said recently i started space city and it is indeed very challenging but also very rewarding. I totally agree with you this is good map to develop skill but only issue i find is random player i team up with are really scared and are there only to do mission so at the moment we are engaged with enemy team specially for extraction point and even if i knock 2 player they just run away just ending up dying later on . This is not the case with Zero dam where even if they leave there are lots of extraction option and solo play is feasible.
Yess, the extraction options is the problem for this map. It's terrible how all the extracts are located behind a chokepoint that has perfect camping spots built in preventing all of the extraction points.
ur not wrong , everyone has their voices and opinions in all subjects , u can sometimes persuade em or u don't , for them to change. The most important thing for everyone's goal is to have fun at the end of the day becuz it's just pixels on a screen

This could easily be zero dam as it is pretty easy to get familar with. Also space city is honestly really so much fun for pvp. I started out for the quests but now am starting to learn brakkesh and space city both. Watching the streams really does help to att! thanks for that!
fully agree with your point about pro player in space city and ranked cap in zero dam but many skillfull player play zero dam because the map easier, you can extract everywhere, the enemy player are mostly using ass gear and have less skill. so the casual and less skilled player complain about pro player in zero dam also have point. i hope they give us more map the harder one and casual one cause damn no one play layali and zero dam always be the chosen casual map

I think you are absolutly right, Zero Dam is full of people who is just farming new players for ranks. Beaming blue vest andys with gold ammo. Whats worst is that they know every peek, corner and lately, they are running double Sineva with stinger on back (at least on my server). I que'd like four or five times to Space city and brakesh and the time que went to 25 minutes because no one is playing those map in my region. In my opinion, Zero Dam should have gear limitation for normal mode and have a "hard" mode for people using gold gear/ammo (Since there's a lot of quest that involves killing other players in there). Idk, i hope brazilians started to play SC and Brakesh, since BR is the only server we latinamerican have to play (a fucking disaster, +120 ping, 40 fps).
I agree with most of your points, I do think Space City, and by extension Brakkesh are both made to be played by people taking in high risk/reward. My primary issue with both maps is that the learning curve for map layout can be extremely hostile. It must have cost me 5-6 Million at least to get a memorised idea Brakkesh's layout, let alone Space City which i am still working on. I am not 100% sure how it could be implemented but someway either low risk or risk free to learn just the basic layout of the map would fix all by 1 of my issues with these both. Minus the cheating issue which in itself is seperate problem but a total dice roll if you run into these players
The problem with Space City specifically, imo is the design of the extractions. The bridge choke point feels absolutely bad and wayy too often there is a team just camping there waiting to steal your loot when your team is trying to extract after fighting the rest of the server and exhausting all your good ammo and armor. It's absolutely ridiculous that you are basically forced to push into their camp setup if you want to extract... Perhaps they could add some more rotations around that spot, or just add more different extractions elsewhere on the map.
I agree with you, Space City is definitely where the pros go more often. I avoid Space City because I'm not nearly as good as the people that play on it. I don't have the reflexes to keep up with you guys :) Do you post any gun builds?
We couldn't get the doctor to spawn ALL DAY for the last quest so I couldn't make it and am very sorry about this. Hopefully he will spawn today so we can get the video up tomorrow :)

Yo Atturson - Im also a God of War but I never play on Space City, just for the fact that out of 10 matches, i get cheated like 3 - 4+ times verus Zero Dam, it be rare to get it even 2-10 times but idk if this is just my personal experience, also with the pure fact that I run Solo, and Squad filled, rather than my own God of War squad, So I havent reattempted those 10 times on Space City for quite some time.
Space City is just the map you have to do for the missions. Queues are relatively long. No real matchmaking for non-premade squads(so it puts players who match with randos at a disadvantage usually).Also, the map, it's empty,literally no NPCs, loot is pretty meh if you're scavenging and the extraction points are non-existent. Map is streamer rated.

as a zero dam only player. it is not the pro player map for sure.. it is very linear and simple. the space and barakesh are way harder and complex, but i dont think they should unrank zero dam. too much of a wave it would create
Zero dam is like Customs in Tarkov. People like it coz its the first map for new players and others like farming noobs. Space city is labs. Having said that, I dont like many areas in space city coz of stupid angles and also cheaters.
If u have low spec just wanna enjoy the game play zero dam as zero dam map is es to understand u can make the play easily but I am also hoping for switching to space city even I am low spec will try learning
Sure there are some with shit kits on zero dam but most players there are god of war 3 stacks running gold or even red, and zero dam is actualy a well designed map

Nah that argument about competitive games is contradicting to what you're saying, playing while in a disadvantage is a skill perfected not because you win while WITHIN it but because you still look for ways to find the window of an advantage hidden in it. The simplest way to explain is any player that wins is just better overall, if you win while in a disadvantage is because you just outskilled the other player or the other is just trash into keeping that advantage and utilizing it. Doesnt matter how godly your aim or reaction speed is if a player's skill to utilize an advantage outweighs that "godly" aim.
I think you might have miss understood the message I tried to deliver: Strategy can be learned relatively fast, skill requires repetition for a longer period. Both are of course what makes the better player but how do you improve your skill if you apply strategy in zero dam everyday to get your alloys up?
