The game was released during the height of the MOBA craze, but instead of competing directly with the likes of League of Legends and Dota 2, its devs went after the mobile market with esports ambitions in mind.

Vainglory was such a fun game
Vainglory could have been something great
It was great it was literally the most popular moba and could hold on with LoL and Dota with ease
The moba that shouldnt have died...i just feel sad for the developers...they came this far..gave us the best graphics moba we could ever find in mobile..heck the graphics is better than LoL and probably in par with dota2..sad that it got shutdown soon after they made a 5v5 mode ...i hope one day the devs decide to bring the game back cus i woulda i only play this besides any other mobile moba
the same go for auto chess moba D2 style on mobile and got no place in market but legend of glory can fix that all i guess ;_;

It got shut down because they were not up to take the whole pocket out of their community 😢 they wert kind to us bro, i spend like 200-250€ for 5 years of playing vainglory and got almost everything there (also the time you could get free skins)

Lol wl has more animated characters & more effect, but vainglory has beautiful lighting & background environment
It was a truly fun MOBA to enjoy.
Vainglory was the GOAT, still could be if they came back to it.

When we needed it the most, it vanished 😢
Now installing it because I have never heard neither played it in my entire life, although I was a regular MLBB player before 2020. Since few days I am getting to hear about Vainglory a lot. Let's try, hope everything goes well
this is so far the best mobile moba..better than wildrift and way better than MLBB..graphics,gameplay,mechanics,lore..and original heroes not a copy..

there are discord servers with active players who play and snipe everyday. u dont have to play bots. if you want i can add u
I don’t understand how anyone hasn’t just made a copy cat vainglory with the same controls (touch controls)
Damn if vainglory came out now with well optimization it will kill all the mobas.
Look at 5v5 map beautiful n refreshing unlike other mobas.
Now all can afford mediocre smartphone. So it won't be problematic.
I would rather trade MLBB'S death just to revive this game

i miss this game so much i used to be good
the control was so good to play, especially for rts lover like me, sadly those arena of valor kids rlly hate to remove their thumbs from the same place for more than 2 seconds. A lot of negative review on the game were about the controls
The controls were the best part for me, easy, responsive and well done

I stopped playing this game for awhile then league wild rift came out, starting playing that but got a little bored of just that and decided to revisit this only to find out it’s pretty much dead. Extremely unfortunate this game is pretty much on par with wild rift for me except the graphics were better somehow.

@@Kasdogit's kinda forgotten and have 0 updates but it's still out there indefinitely with all legends and skin unlocked for free. , don't have hopes that it runs well though.. Years of no optimization has bred so much bugs.

No profit for dev.. Coz back then the skins can be crafted even the legendary tier.. The mats to craft it can get by just playing the game...theres so many freebies features they made until it kills em internally🥲🥲
The devs were fucking stupid and never bothered to market their own games, so it was basically unknown. Then comes ML and they DO market, taking over the whole scene and forming a gigantic playerbase.
