I'm literally going through depression over this. Vainglory was and will always be such an important part of my life. I just wished those mistakes can still be fix. With love and passion for the game.
I have tried some other games but it doesn't feel the same, I'm playing cod mobile but I haven't found a game with the quality VG provided, this is very sad, I don't even know what to do in my free time, I'm depressed all the time, VG used to make me forget about everything, it sounds kinda stupid but this game really made me have some good times, memories and relaxing times. This is my first time watching ur vid and you have a good point. It's really dissappointing how this happens to VG. "What a shame you'll never reach your potential." -Idris
When raikynn and shatter the vain left I left. I’m an OG. VG was the shit. Game basically had too much free stuff n didnt make enough money. They was for the player all the way and I respect em.
I'm not surprised that the game failed. they didn't stick to what they knew and went down the already overdone 5v5 4 lane style. they should have stayed 3v3 that's what set them apart from others
I think what hurts them the most is not moving to 5v5 but just what the video said... Their game doesn't work on low end devices other than latest apple products... I do believe that most gamers are actually android users... And when other games became popular og player of a game will eventually find it boring and move to games that are getting a trend..
i dont know how many mobas youve played but 3v3 isnt anything new to this genre and 5v5 offers more crazy plays and more macros, the game itself died when it started to catre to f2p players when it shouldnt have in the first place, theres isnt one moba out there that gives out legendary tier skins for free other than VG, even other moba sells recolored skins. and most importantly the community itself killed the game as then whine bec they cant get the latest skin for free
2 years after and i'm still sad about VG falling. i seriously enjoyed this game so much it motivated me to work hard and save up and buy a bigger phone (shallow as it may sound). i seriously miss VG!!!
Yeah.. it really does suck to see an old favorite hit the bricks as hard as it did. I guess it really is true what they say, the brighter the star the faster it burns.
Suddenly i remembered all the good things happened when i played with my buddies. That feeling when your team comeback, that feeling when you sync attack with your buddies, that feeling when your buddies got your back, that feeling when you become the heroes when stealing kraken and so many more. Im actually crying right now knowing those good days will never come back again.
I remember always talking about this game to people but no one seemed to care cuz it didnt have 5v5 :( until 5v5 came out but the devs were already slowly killing vg. This will forever be my one of my favorite games no matter what
@@HollandJohnson they didn't sell the game only the publishing license. they were still making money when rogue was in charge. selling the game would have saved it, but it would have meant that they wouldn't get the money. And now it's beyond the point of selling.
It's so SAD to see Vainglory come falling down like this :( This game will forever be my best gaming experience! I have many Vainglory recordings/gameplays that I'll be uploading throughout the next few weeks, following this I have made an account in the China Server, I will upload a video letting you guys know how that is going next!
really sad dude Vainglory has been shutdown while mobile gaming grown to exist right now. honestly I never played perfectious mobile MOBA game before. but one day, SEMC bring come Vainglory 3v3. Godness! this game obliviously have a unique gameplay mechanism, more badass graphics, more legitimate experience of multiplayer game instead of another MOBA game on mobile devices. I'am Indonesian but I NEVER played Mobile Legends, cuz I had more game experiences especially MOBA PC game like League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, and Dota2. I choose the best quality of multiplayer game more than quantity of mobile MOBA were I'm so unlikely to did it.
VG was a victim of poor timing.. Had SEMC released 5v5 way sooner with much better match pacing.. it would have been the best moba for smartphones.. People didn't want a dota-like pacing for a mobile game.. mobile games are design to be fast paced.. hence the success of ML over VG..
Proud to have experienced this back when rona was first released, I had great memories from this game, I was always excited to go home from school just to play with friends. 3v3 will always be the best for me. I really hope they make a comeback
Dude how much we played this game , we oppened a whatsapp group for our guild , playing with each other , making new friends , playing like 5-6 hours a day , those nights at 2 am playing with friends .Wish we could turn back time...
Shame yes, this is a hard lesson. VG was simply trying to develop some sort of status, get their name out there, compete with the likes of ML. However offering big prize money, was simply the wrong way of going about it, and it slowly put them into a financial situation. For me, their biggest problem was the very thing that made their game different...the touch control. In order to appeal to the masses, they needed to stick to controls that the masses could use on their phones. Finger control was great for tablets (larger screens) but terrible to use on phones....phones are what the masses play on, and this was the market they so desperately needed. If you have the market, then all the rest comes in time.
VG back in the day was famous for ios users while ML was famous for android users. Android sucks back then but was far cheaper than apple. As time grew, android is one of the major phone os in the world right now and is everywhere now.
Ya. SEMC went too hard too fast at the beginning. They were basically doomed at launch. They needed 3 things: 1. a monetization expert 2. the patience to let the game grow organically 3. a way to reduce resolution in order to support lower end devices It's sad, really. Still, I have so much love for this game. fingers crossed for community edition...
This game had a lot of good memories for me. At some point, I don't know what other MOBA games to play other than this game since this game had been shut down. So I had quitted playing MOBA games ever since then because for me it seems like Vainglory is unreplaceable
I will miss this game :'( I played mostly the Captain role because no one else wanted to. I became proficient at supporting and timing my actives. Never spent money but invested alot of time into this game. Goodbye VG! Rip Scaarf, Saw, Grace, Catherine, etc
Vainglory was the community I actually got in I was watching their livestreams and live streamers who played their game and buying skins basically they were my teen years …good times wish it came back
@Deep Rides ML is thriving rn seeing how VG shut down but trust me when league legend gets released by the end of this year for mobile it's going to become the best moba in the play store but also the most popular as well it's most likely going to shut down all the other mobas
@@lucidisediting i think VG is ezer. since its only 3v3. dont forget the game was so boring with that slow paced and 1 lane only. no variation in gameplay. sucks.
13:17 :< true. I remember telling my friends to try Vainglory coz it's cool, awesome graphics and gameplay, when I saw them playing Monile Legends, I told them, "Why don't you try Vainglory? That game is awesome, you should give it a try", and they were like, "That game sounds familiar, is it popular?" :
well im the only person that can play vainglory in my grup.. i cant blame them, im the more lucky person and get the best gadget compare to them (high end samsung tablet),, and they play with phone.. u cant fight with that reason.. they play ML like crazy,, i think if only they got some more money they will defintely play vg.., they love moba
@@happyfish1212 actually there is a few aspects that made Mobile Legend more entertaining than VG, not saying that's it's bad tho. I'm also a vg player for years but ML just nailed it somehow
@@happyfish1212 you dont need high-end tech to play vainglory ı used my mid tier 2016 phone (snapdragon 616)and it plays at 1080p with playable framerates and ml was very bad with lowest settings with 17fps and made the phone heat :/(
Yeah.. Vainglory acted so slow. Finding a great phone to run vainglory was my first strugle back on 2017..but by that time there is more and more samsung products being imported here in Philippines. But the marketing of Vainglory just..... sucks. I still remember around 2018 when I watch youtube videos with ads. It is just pure mobile legends. They really dominated the market and got known locally here in Philippines. And that is the time where Vg slowly sink especially here in SEA. My friends stopped playing because of the long queue. We always took 5~8min just to find a match compared to below 1min in Mobile Legends. Pro players stopped playing the game and it is just.... not known anymore.
mashhad there’s so many ways they could’ve done to save vg long ago, but they just killed it. I’m pretty sure their new game won’t be better than vg, probably will die asap.
Yeah , I had two battle pass but you got all your ICE back how stupid is that ? I found 3 * SummerParty Petals , and two SummerParty Grace skins in chests . Player should be encouraged to hand over cash , not given everything.
@@73j0d5z6 exactly. If they loved VG so much that they are claiming now for CE they would have never thought about another project. They raised 10.2M dollars for project spellfire they could have raised that money to save VG. They abandon their own child now blaming rogue for that.
@@FantasyVisuals battle passes were made on the thinking of giving your premium currency back every AAA title with BP gives you back your premium currency (eg Fortnite, Cod) but they were already leaking money they could have made like COC no return of money. I only buy Battlepasses other than that I am F2P player. They released 10 more account levels bringing it upto 40 and battlepass at the same time I got 1000 ICE from level 40 and reamaing ice got from free boxes. I never had to buy ice for BP. If they had made BP like COC I would have bought each and every one of those that's how much I liked the game and obviously so many more people did too.
Lol 10.2 million may sound a lot but for mobile games like vg it’s not enough to pay for aggressive advertising like ml. I do agree with what u said though. The problem was that vg started of as small home grown company without much of a Budget while games like ml, are made by multibillion companies. That’s y vg had barely any adverts as they simply can’t afford it and very easily got outmuscled by the bigger companies
it sucks to see this happening to Vainglory and you touch on most of the points of the downfall. it was an awesome game but once 5v5 hit, matchmaking in ranked and more killed it for me. hope see more content come out and many new games to see you play.
I convinced almost 20+ people to Play this game and the number multiplied, i found friend all over my country the community was so good we used to play mini tournaments and scrims. The time was so good back then pushing to POA in 3vs3, grinding skins ,playing parties with friends connected through discord. Tbh for me 5vs5 is the only reason why game suffered they fucked hero balancing and every a beautiful mode 3v3 got destroyed half of the heroes became useless other became too op. And also players got confused what to play 3 or 5. 5vs5 was laggy and and was very slow to play the movement speed was not enough for a 5v5 map the game became slow and boring.
Vainglory had been my daily addiction for years. I would say the 5V5 map actually spoiled the game. The game crashed often. 3v3 was it's golden period. This game though would be close to my heart forever.
its truly sad to see a game like Vainglory go down this path, I got into the game after someone told me about it through a clan I was in. And now several years later, I've met so many people who have played with countless hours & countless all-nighters. Really sad that this game brought me through so much.
It's sad to see vg in a state like this. Personally, I dont think itll work with the community version but I wish that it does. Hopefully SEMC learn from this mistake and execute it better with project spellfire.
Was one of the first to ever play this game back at 2014. I remember running this game's LINE community 5 years ago. Met the best set of online friends. Even the devs came in to interact with the players. It's been years but no other game or community has given an experience as great as Vainglory's. Seeing this video brings back so much memories. Sad to see it go.
Me too this game meant everything for me it git me through the day and it was the reason why I attended ESGS last 2018 where VG was still in its prime and it was fun and I was really excited of what will happen to VG back then because of it I participated in the BR tournament in ESGS and got a shirt with my IGN printed it was truly a wonderful experience and it truly was a magical and unforgettable experience for me as it was my first and probably the last time seeing VG in the big stage but I have high hopes for SEMC I hope they wont forget their glorious creation and hopefully will get a re-release of VG
Great video! I still remember being in SEA for a year in 2018 and how Mobile Legends ads were everywhere to include with the different SIM card providers offer free data to play it. Nobody was playing Vainglory in SEA anymore and it went down hill from there. Not as single advertisement was made anywhere in the Asian countries I visited. Also like you said most Android phones in SEA couldn't play the game unlike Mobile Legends. RIP VG 2020!
As a child I fell in love with koshka and lyra I would use them often and even got most of their skin WITHOUT paying actual money.(which is something Im extremely happy) I remember playing so hard just to get them. It was also so easy for people with terrible aim to play because of their touch control. It was a paradise, it’s literally the game I’ve always loved and now things aren’t the same.
I played VG since the beginning, literally since the beginning. It was a great game but the release of 5v5 is crap and it ruined whole system especially 3v3 where the game rise from.
Everyone who says vg should've stayed with 3v3 are all buthurt fans who couldn't accept that vg was dying even before 5v5 development. Everyone was talking about 5v5 on mobile yet vg's arrogance in their "uniqueness" fell short and what they've built was quickly left behind. 3v3 was good, but due to bad servers it makes it extremely hard to carry a 2man team. Unlike in 5v5 where 4man team can carry through the end. This learning curve and lack of coverage for low end users had been a mudpit for vg.
Thank you for making this video, @Chamu. 2016-2017 truly was the height of Vainglory and it really did feel like it was going to be the best mobile game for a long time. I was a dedicated OG (IMO) spending so much of my money in support for Super Evil Megacorp as one of the MANY MANY dedicated OG fanatical players that saw VG's potential. My IGN was Nogstafari and, for a long time, NogsOnVertigo with the Vertigo clan. I was a dedicated League of Legends player, but as I got burned out by the 45-75 minute average match duration, I started to not have the time to dedicate that amount of time for more than one League match as I was growing into a young adult with a growing career IRL. Then I discovered Vainglory via the Apple Keynote. I was blown away and couldn't wait to play. Admittedly, due to your correct reporting on the lack of advertising, I didn't start actually playing the game until right when Taka was released, which in the long scheme of things, was very early on. I COULD NOT BELIEVE the graphics, the simple and beautiful main screen menu, the spot on tap tap touch controls, and the skill based gratification that no one expected to have on a damn iPhone and iPad. I was hooked immediately. They reproduced a similar product that I was getting from playing 5v5 League in a 3v3 mobile MOBA. I could play 3 satisfying matches in the time it could take me to play 1 League match that could be easily ruined by a disconnect. I stopped playing League and dedicated all my gaming time to Vainglory. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you documented in this welll-produced video. For those of us that could play right from the beginning (mostly iPad/iPhone users), we were hardcore dedicated, and because SEMC was so accessible, we all felt a hand in helping it grow. I pulled MANY of my fellow League players over to at least try out Vainglory and admit to me that I was giving the proper hype to the game. I was dedicated to spreading the word about Vainglory. ...and then the cracks in the armor started to show. I'm not going to repeat all the things you said in your video, but you were spot on. I was very vocal about, "Why the hell aren't WE advertising?!" This was such a sore spot for me. It made no sense especially when looking at how good the eSports effort was, I assumed SEMC was flush with money. Then, as you said, once they started trying to milk more money out of us, the dedicated VG OGs, it left a VERY bad taste in our mouths. Words like "betrayed" and "ungrateful" were thrown around in various circles. This was the only part that was missing from this incredible video; testimonials from other OGs describing the sudden turn to the new skin systems and the new concentration on the big name eSports teams like TSM, etc etc. The dedicated OGs felt left behind. I certainly did. Despite all that, I was willing to stick around to see how 5v5 would play out, and when it just took too long to be released, I walked away for a solid break. Several months later when someone in Vertigo let me know that 5v5 was finally out... I tried it for a few games that day and was unimpressed with its execution and ultimately, it didn't feel like that unique game that I was at one time in total awe of. --- PS - Super Evil Megacorp should've put their classic logo shirts up for sale so much sooner than when they finally made them available to the players. There was missed revenue right there. To this day (in 2020), I still wear mine to concerts and conventions and it always brings a smile and/or a conversation to the people I walk by. Most people don't know who SEMC is, and my quick answer is to just give them an appreciative smile and say, "Oh, it's just the t-shirt of a game developer that I used to love" then I walk away.
Im from southeast asia singapore and our community here is was so little. Not much people play the game since Mobile legends came. Thats when i saw the downfall of vainglory in asia. And many players are just toxic af.
I am also from Singapore and back then 2015-2017 almost my entire cohort was playing it. We would have a competition to see whose the best everyday after school at the nearby Mcdonald but I left vainglory due to personal issues. Sad to see such a great game go down like this.
They actually created bugs by trying to change... I remember there was a day where every match dropped an ultra or legendary card xD Then they destroyed all the cards and gave players a high conversion for their cards to essence. O,O
Gracias bro, te lo escribo En español para que sepas también Que la Comunidad latina apoya a todo el Que quiera hablar o intentar hacer algo al día de hoy por Vainglory, gracias por tu tiempo
really and truly appreciate what you did for this video, vainglory has accompanied with me for 5 years, via this game, i created my own meaningful relationships with many players here in Vietnam, there were a lot of memories that i left behind. Now, in this tough time ever, i mean whatever unexpected situations are gonna happen, Vainglory is still the best game i have ever played. Nothing more to say, just thank, all my teammates, all the players, and Vainglory
It boggles my mind that they STILL haven't even managed to release a version with skins, names and talents, while keeping the game half-alive for more than a year.
The game died because devs got cocky. VG was the top rts/moba on mobile and they stopped/lessened marketing/advertisements. They left the engine alone and didnt tweak or optimize it for lower/ middle spec devices. The UI and chat system is sub optimal. The rank picking phase is not optimized too. And lastly although the 5 v 5 is great and quite good. They rushed its meta, the objectives are so monotoned and stream-lined to one lane. I feel that the map is a little bit small. The jungle is crowded. And many more tweaks that they didn't address. Lastly their items, is way too linear, they don't give well rounded items which offers resistances and damage or cdr. They streamlined the item system too much imo. Not much versatility in itemization. All in all, Semc got lax and cocky thinking none could compete with them in rts, so they didnt improve/innovate VG's meta. Their way of changing the meta is making heroes OP then nerfing, rinse and repeat. They didn't make reworks making some heroes shitty and left out.
I can't say i'm better at marketing this game from the SEMC marketing teams , but i got like 18-22 people playing this game because of me. I'm playing like from the second semester till this day it was almost like 3 to 4 years. First was my class mates in college years, i joined several classes and got bunch of them to play this, and they stopped after like 1-2 months. The reason? They said the matchmaking taking too long. Then i got my GF play this, and she said that this isn't her game which i understood since most girls game taste would differ than most boys. Then i got my worker mates played this games, yet they stopped. the reason? the matchmaking taking too long too much time, and the match itself and the heroes are just too slow that would drain the battery. I mean come on we're on mobile phone, even i did think the match is too long since average match is between 20-28 minutes. From the long wait of matchmaking 2-3 minutes, hero pick, and match it would already take 34-40 minutes. Matchmaking too long? Because there aren't many players. And make the hero movement speed little bit faster, just liiiitttleee biiiittt. I mean this game got every potential to become a next level MOBA, yet they failed and lose the battle from what ? MOBILE FUCKIN LEGENDS? FFS, i would be very ashamed if i'm a SEMC team members. I don't even freakin play DOTA, LOL, or any MOBA games and not interested, yet VAINGLORY got me hooked like cocaine. I'd say the marketing itself isn't doing a great job. Now they gotta reap what they sow. Now for the first time in my life, i've already uninstall VG. literally the first time.
@@PaterSou69 i wasn't even comparing, i'm just saying, that i'm not a fan of MOBA games like DOTA or LOL, and once i played VG it's very good and got me hooked. So i'm saying VG got its own charming point. You don't get my point do you? Now you seem like an idiot
@@randylianabella4861 gotta agree with you, better be a joke than broke. I think it's 65-70% marketinf vault. And i would probably say that the reason VG isn't being played by many people because it has the image of a game that needed "high end" phone. When it first launch, in my country only few "newest phone" at that time that can only play. What ML done was they made the game awful but as the time goes, they make it better both gameplay and graphic. So i think ML Developer has better strategies in their marketing and they're literally targeting "every specs of phone". They're targeting the people first, then improving the game. So it's feels like the Developer listening to their communities. Like "ugh the graphic is so awful", well yes sure it is because moonton targeting medium and low, and they can improve. VG already has great graphics and gameplay, so the developer kinda stuck to what should they do to improve, there are not much to improve thou since it's already good. And if they wanna do improvement it'll be cost a fortune but there aren't many players. Trust me i'm a software developer lol.
I don't even know what I'm feeling right now chief. Tbh I played VG since its inception in iPhone 6, this game have a special place in my life. Its like, its sad but in the same time its frustrating to see this game gone down like this :( hell they even sponsored our guild's event (in form of ICE prize pool) back in 2016 even though its just a small regional event with only about 45 people fighting their way to the first. Its just, I guess I AM really frustrated and sad to see they going down like this :(
I've played this when it first came out on iPhone 6 plus. The best phone game ever no doubt. I haven't play VG in a few years and today I decided to install it again. Tried to find a online match but found none. So sad my game died 😞 this game was like my baby. Then it got miscarriage.
I'm devastated when I see the state of vainglory. I remember my friend inviting me to play it. I was never a fan of Moba games seeing as to how I was always surrounded by FPS. So this makes it my first Moba game to try out ever. I knew I had to download this game. I also had to go out of the zone I'm used to and learn entirely the mechanics of the game. I enjoyed the learning curve. Part of which I love about the game is its difficulty. I remember every time school was over I couldn't wait to play the game. This game holds so many memories and countless nights that I spent with my friend to play. This honestly brings tears into my eyes.
Man, I never realized how hard it was for small screen players. I started playing this game in an iPod touch when it came out and then moved onto an iPhone SE. I never really struggled with playing. I miss this game so much. All the characters were so unique.
They did do make limited time skins, for example, taka’s night shadow. That was one of the skins I wanted for so long in the game before they redid the crafting system. It’s upsetting that this game is dying, it really is. The community isn’t all that dead. I feel like if they want to save it, they can, but it’s just a matter of choice. Choices, decisions on what content should come with updates, to poll certain updates before it gets passed, etc.
ugh yeah this shit is depressing. I've been playing this game for like 5 years now and I srsly always thought it was fun. Like I honestly nvr thought oh its so difficult controls or oh its glitchy or wtv, I just thought it was a v enjoyable experience and wanted to get into the professional league (I was a vg silver player with 2 top 100s in my team from SEA) and like it's just depressing rlly
Hopefully if Vainglory does make a new moba, they learn from their mistakes in Vainglory's executions. With more stronger devices in the current time I think their engine would be better for these devices, and maybe making something to attract the community might be helpful in their growth. I as a newbie to vg but not to mobas wish the devs do learn from this, and hopefully make things better for them.

I love this game so much even though I was having a difficult time with it. Specially as a beginner back then. Even though I didn't play this game a lot like aov, mobile legends, onmyoji, or super war, I still love vainglory for its gameplay and design. Such a unique moba then. It saddens me that they weren't able to compete with the other games, or reached the top even. I wish they gained the success they deserve. It was really a great game.
i met many new friends, having fun, compete in a tourney, losing and still able to laugh. This game give me many things, hope semc survive and make another vainglory. This time the world is ready :(

You've covered all the points. Very well done. Every time I tried to raise the point that tap control and advanced, in-depth game play actually hurting the game, I got downvoted to hell. Mobile gaming needs to attract casual players, that's why ML, AOV succeed very well in SEA market.
That’s right, casual players cover 99% of every playerbase from any game, SEMC failed to correctly build this core playerbase unlike ML did and touch controls definitely played a role to why they never could

I'm not surprised that the game failed. they didn't stick to what they knew and went down the already overdone 5v5 4 lane style. they should have stayed 3v3 that's what set them apart from others
So sadly(
I think what hurts them the most is not moving to 5v5 but just what the video said... Their game doesn't work on low end devices other than latest apple products... I do believe that most gamers are actually android users... And when other games became popular og player of a game will eventually find it boring and move to games that are getting a trend..
@AniMeusic Underrated comment
i dont know how many mobas youve played but 3v3 isnt anything new to this genre and 5v5 offers more crazy plays and more macros, the game itself died when it started to catre to f2p players when it shouldnt have in the first place, theres isnt one moba out there that gives out legendary tier skins for free other than VG, even other moba sells recolored skins. and most importantly the community itself killed the game as then whine bec they cant get the latest skin for free

really sad dude Vainglory has been shutdown while mobile gaming grown to exist right now. honestly I never played perfectious mobile MOBA game before. but one day, SEMC bring come Vainglory 3v3. Godness! this game obliviously have a unique gameplay mechanism, more badass graphics, more legitimate experience of multiplayer game instead of another MOBA game on mobile devices.
You don't have to remind again and again. I have passed the sad days.

Vainglory is still the best mobile MOBA. The others don’t even compare at all. But it’s so sad this game ended up being thrown in the corner like this
vainglory: 350k prize for tournament
meanwhile mobile legends: 1k.
But vainglory got bankrupt and mobile legends got rich by advertising and overpriced skin
FøX_ PH yep

They needed 3 things:
1. a monetization expert
2. the patience to let the game grow organically
3. a way to reduce resolution in order to support lower end devices
It's sad, really. Still, I have so much love for this game. fingers crossed for community edition...

How to revive a man: impossible

mashhad there’s so many ways they could’ve done to save vg long ago, but they just killed it.

Also listening to all this is making me to cry as I was just a viewer In all these years seeing vainglory in it's prime and now it's downfall.
I'm subscribing. This is an incredible analysis.
I played VG since the beginning, literally since the beginning. It was a great game but the release of 5v5 is crap and it ruined whole system especially 3v3 where the game rise from.
Yes, staying in 3vs3 is the best
---
PS - Super Evil Megacorp should've put their classic logo shirts up for sale so much sooner than when they finally made them available to the players.

They didn't make reworks making some heroes shitty and left out.
vainglory was my first game. switched to league a long time ago but it will always have a place in my heart.........
I started playing vainglory really late when it started dying out but I'm kinda glad I only spent like $10 on it I had a feeling this was coming....

Literally the best mobile game ever existed
the lore was amazing. the gameplay was fun, the graphics and heroes all of it! gosh this was my childhood ima miss it sm

Mobile legends is much more fun.. Much strategic and skill and many match gaming.
ML's a joke but it's better to be a joke than to be broke. Rip VG.
This game is everything for me... that word make my skins tingling sensation.
Me too...Before season zero, i've play this game & i love it.
Its sad to realize that vainglory is really going down. Yet I will still remember all the time I play. And all the friends I made in this game. Peace
ugh yeah this shit is depressing.
Yea 😞
I'm still hoping to see the day where VAINGLORY is back in the market.
Like come on, WILDRIFT is a total failure.
All of us should return
Vainglory is the vest game for my life. I spent so much time on it. I'm really sad Vainglory is shot down.
I hope vainglory will come back.
By Japanese fan of Vainglory.
Sorry for my bad English.
i can't, i can't watch all these memorable clip from 3v3 vainglory without shedding tears
In my opinion they make mistake when it comes for 5 vs 5, cause the originality from the unique 3 vs 3 game become lost
This is real... Its start going down after 5v5
Why? Did they even remove the 3v3 option?
@@belnardocastelo1577 because there was too little people playing 3v3.... i think a lot was playing casual so no 1 was playing rank so they remove 3v3 casual
Yes pls do something about it rewind the time and let vainglory take the lead anyone?
U do realize that the community is the one who beg 5v5 to SEMC right?
I'm an introvert and don't have that much friends. This game was my only joy! Cried when I found out about this. Knowing that this would have happened, since I know marketing, made me slowly stop playing during Rogue days knowing it would end like this. But I did not expect it to be gone this fast
So true that people found out about this game cuz of family and friends😞
This is Danny chamu we used to play with Afro back in the day man how much I miss this game even to this day I talk about it with ferb
Miss everything about the game...Wild Rift is awesome but nothing will ever compare to VG
VG is one of the reasons I got better at playing MOBAs in general. I wish I can turn back the time.
I remember when my friend introduced me to this game a couple weeks after release. Man, I really miss playing krul and with my friends.
Thank you for helping me process my grief.
Remember the first Vainglory trailer with theChosenOne, yeah the soundtrack is in the replies

i met many new friends, having fun, compete in a tourney, losing and still able to laugh. This game give me many things, hope semc survive and make another vainglory. This time the world is ready :(
Remember what you said to me, chams? “Things come and go” ;-;
Life comes and goes, you take then you leave it.
Yates.
Have been playing for so long with my friend since primary school , i cant imagine vainglory going down , its rly so sad to see this...
I will miss this game forever💚
Being the most toxic player in eu i had an amazing time playing this game finding/abusing glitches was fun as hell playing with freinds learning new heros this game was a big part of my life rest in peace vainglory u will forever have a place in my heart
Vainglory is the embodiment of the DJ Khaled's Suffering From Success meme
You've covered all the points. Very well done.
Every time I tried to raise the point that tap control and advanced, in-depth game play actually hurting the game, I got downvoted to hell.
Mobile gaming needs to attract casual players, that's why ML, AOV succeed very well in SEA market.
That’s right, casual players cover 99% of every playerbase from any game, SEMC failed to correctly build this core playerbase unlike ML did and touch controls definitely played a role to why they never could
17:16 that's what I tell myself every single day...
