Today we take a trip over to the United Kingdom, in the shadow of Big Ben, and tear into a 1976 MG Midget that's been parked for 10 years or more. It's been sitting outside, covered by some rags of tarps and forgotten for years. We drag it out, look it over and dive into trying to get it started. Will it start? Is it junk? Tune in and find out!

That had me dying laughing, sounds like something my Dad would've said. I helped my Dad get his neglected 1973 Fiat Spider 124 on the road after he finaly decided to sell it many years ago. It's really funny seeing a man that was 6'4" cram into a car not meant for people over 5' 10"... He couldn't drive it with the top up, and the profanity he invented when he got smacked in the forehead with bugs was priceless.
The boy needs to man up, what can I say? 😂 See, that's what's fun about TH-cam, bringing memories like that back for people while creating them with my kids. Hence the name of the channel. Thanks for watching man!
@@MyLegacyGarage No prob! I'd love to find one of these cars or a little Fiat if I had a shed to park it in or something. They're actually decently reliable if you can sort out what everyone else did wrong. 'Course it wouldn't be British if it wasn't pissing oil haha.

I had a 76 MGB and we drove it until things started to rust. Eventually we arranged to send it to a specialist for restoration. It fell off that truck on the way to Rochester Mass. We sold the 75 Midget and bought a new truck. That was all in 1985-87

3 windshield wipers because some US law required a certain % of the window be wiped, and the two wipers weren't cutting it, so they added a third.

@@MyLegacyGarage It sounded like my friends TR4. A neighbor helped him get it timed and the neighbor turned the gear 180 degrees because he said it was wrong despite the car running earlier in the day. When I got involved it was popping just like the Midget.
