We generally need more Batman movies that lay a bit more focus on the Batfamily. You know, start out with the usual Batman who wants to work alone, that doesn't let anybody in etc. Then one day he witnesses the death of the Flying Graysons. He takes pity on Dick and adopts him. They could literally focus 2 or more movies on how Bruce tries to help Dick become less like him and how Robin actually helps Batman open up a bit more. Could be a lovely story about how you should not isolate yourself due to trauma as well as showing us how, Bruce raises Robin and his eventual transformation into Nightwing (Essentially a movie about parenthood, but with superheroes) Then once that is done, we could introduce Jason Todd and how that went down a much darker path. It basically kicks back Batman's character development from the last few movies a notch and he starts being in more of a dark place again. Then you can continue with other members of the bat family such as Tim Drake and Cassandra Cain to (along with Nightwing of course) slowly help build up Bruce again. ... And then comes along the Red Hood. It would be heartbreaking, but it also opens up the door for Batman to try and fix what he considers "his greatest failure". To try and help Jason where he couldn't before. Not to mention, it opens up the door for SO MANY SPIN-OFFS. Nightwing and Red Hood squaring off due to old resentments and becoming closer in the process, the formation of the Titans, a Cassie Cain solo story, Red Hood and the Outlaws and so much more.
I have thought the same thing. DC needs to do this in a movie series and then do animated solo series with Batman, Nightwing, and Redhood and have these series interact with each other along with the movies, it would be epic.
I think the DC fandom is in unanimous agreement that DIck's favorite movie is The Greatest Showman and he makes his siblings watch it multiple times hahahah ;p
