I love your dolls and your story! My daughter gave me my very own AG doll on my 50th birthday, and I cried happy tears. It took me awhile to realize it was ok to play with her, but once i found AG youtubers, I found that there are many adults having such fun designing, customizing AGs.
Wow that's really amazing and yes definitely AGtubers and other doll content creators also make me feel so validated and a lot less alone in this hobby as well ❤

I have a similar story. I have always loved dolls but when my daughters grew up and moved out, I suddenly realized it was okay to have my own dolls. I collect different kinds but like to collect AG because they're not so valuable that I'm reluctant to handle them and their clothing is a nice size to sew...not too tiny. I've really enjoyed the adult collector community.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection with us! I live in Australia and can relate to how hard it is to attain these dolls. I got hooked on these when I was fortunate enough to literally stumble upon one at a thrift store (very rare). So it's same here. Congrats on your first video. Never feel you need to justify your collection or compare yourself to anyone other than you❤.

Haha yeah the more I really looked at her she just started screaming Downton abby. Yeah I got a bit confused with the numbers, it was only after I posted this did I realise I messed up haha 😭
Thanks for sharing! I have no idea how you AGtubers remember these kinds of details (when you got each doll and the unique renaming of your dolls). I have about 50 dolls but couldn’t tell you what year or time of year I got most of them.
Haha wow that is a lot! I won’t lie I’ve got a really good long term memory, short term however is extremely bad, I can always seem to remember really small random details 😭
Hi! New subscriber here. I think it’s so cool to see the perspective of overseas AG doll collectors. I love Molly too! Some collectors do not like her story or character but I love it. She has flaws and isn’t perfect. It made me feel like I don’t have to be perfect either and still be ok. Thanks for sharing ❤.

Yeah, I collect AG dolls and I live in the UK. I only have two and they had to be bidded off ebay lol. It is nice to see that you are also an UK doll collector. Thanks for this ❤ I might start an American Girl Doll Channell but I don't know yet. :)

I’m not perfect and I don’t expect all dolls to be perfect but a big flaw in a new doll means the store or company needs to fix/replacement

Now that my doll boutique is closed, are there any other sites with those similar price points? I’m based in the UK too!
I believe my doll boutique has gone over to being called 'my doll collection' and to my knowledge they're still open for business and now mainly selling AG stuff, other than that there's 'Simons collectables' who although has limited stock on their website if you message them directly they'll be able to import anything of your choice from the AG website. But other than that there's always vinted, Ebay and Facebook groups/ market place 🥰
Hey fellow uk doll collector! I totally agree with you about watching videos back in 2010 I always wanted one so much but never got one until 2022 ! I now have 30 or so ag dolls lol my bank is brokeee , I’m still near the start of the video lol I’ll add a comment afterwards ❤️
