Solo Albacore Halibut combo July 6th, 2024 Eureka, Ca

The charts were looking better, the ocean laid down, and fish were caught the day before out of Bragg and Shelter Cove. I grabbed a 100# of ice the night before just in case. The final decision was made the morning of to go.
The fun thing about albacore fishing by yourself is you get to do 100% of the work. Well, it’s fun until you have to clean fish in your kitchen because it’s 115 degrees outside at home.
Turning clickers off is usually a pet leave of mine. Today I made the decision to not turn them off so it’s one less thing to remember to do when resetting.
